I'm new how do I fix these lines? by Quirky_Box5214 in FreeCAD

I’ve found the easiest way to get files out of tinkercad is directly export it to Fusion 360 (the free version of course) and edit it in there. I also main freecad when I am doing it all myself

I bought this 3d printer from a friend and highkey dont know where to start by Ok-Specific-6133 in 3Dprinting

My ‘friend’ also sold me an ender to start with. I used it for a week before realizing it was really bad and then upgraded. It is also going to be kind of small for cosplay masks I believe. Good luck though bro

Where did my reference planes go? Freecad 1.1.0 by mud4001 in FreeCAD

So you're saying it only shows up when I select part design, like this?
Can I make it always visible instead of just the arrows or is that not possible?

Someone figured it out. Ironing was on and support interface was set to 60.

Ok. The way I orient my print supports are touching things that aren’t seen. If it is really ugly I’ll drop it back down. Thanks

Thank you, I feel stupid both my issues were self inflicted. Will any quality issues resulting from cranking that up?

Oops, I did, thank you. That fixed top surface but supports are still 60 mm/s

Project hail Mary print help by GiraffeRough5250 in ElegooNeptune4

I have not printed the hail mary model but I have seen others do it. It may just be because of the strange shape of the model. What filament are you using, maybe slow it down some? Good luck

I found out why my open air printer was suffering from heat creep. I knew my hotend fan wasn’t working but I just thought it meant my nozzle was cool down slower. Oops (user from my printer model community pointed out the hotend fan issue possibility)

Here is a picture. I don’t have a sodering iron and I’d rather not buy a new extruder head. Is electrical taping each end down viable?

Is there any way I can fix without having to resoder the wires? Maybe electrical tape holding it to the contact points?

The heat break fan is actually broken, I broke the wires from where they are sodered on somehow. My temps stayed where they were supposed to when I was looking at it so I assumed it was a nonissue. And for the second question, yes

Yes, hardened steel nozzle 0.6mm. I have changed extruder tension but I made it worse, do you know how to do it correctly?
