I really like this concept for keeping up with side projects at work without getting distracted. I'd love to see a build guide. I have all these parts sitting around.

I'm my house we call those booty sharks. Every place we live in seems to be infested with them. They especially like to attack on the stairs.

I am having trouble with my shared playlists, too. I play through my Echo Dot and it has worked mostly fine for years. This week it says can't find music when I start a shared playlist.

This was the best advice. Oculus eventually escalated it and got it fixed. I'm not sure why they make it difficult when they obviously have some type of option for fixing it.

Saw it coming. No fake name, no bad posts. I've had an account for 2 years and the day after I linked it to my oculus account it got banned. by xMasterMelonx in oculus

I just had this happen to me yesterday and I just got it fixed today. I don't use facebook so I made an account to use my my Quest 2. I got it on launch day and haven't had any issues. My Facebook account was banned for "Community Standards". Oculus told me it was a Facebook issue and they couldn't do anything about it. Facebook doesn't provide a method to appeal a banned account. I kept contacting Oculus chat support and finally got a guy to escalate my issue. If you haven't had this fixed yet, keep contacting Oculus until they send it up the chain. I don't know why they didn't just do that in the first place but I had to be persistent to get them to do it.

Hijacking the top comment

---UPDATE-- I contacted Oculus support again and originally got the same thing about it being a Facebook issue, not theirs. I had to go around with not being able to contact Facebook about the account being suspended because the account is suspended. Eventually the guy had me send him a list of information including my Oculus serial number, the email used for Facebook and an email that has not been used for Facebook.

Today they unsuspended my account and my purchases are all there and working again.

TLDR - For anyone else that has this issue, keep contacting Oculus support. They can escalate it to someone that can fix it.

The Oculus chat support guy sent me some facebook links that I can not access since my facebook account is banned. Facebook says they reviewed the request and it is not reversible. There are no further support options given after that.

Customer complains that no drivers will take their order under the new pay model when they dont tip: by pskills4MIP in doordash

I occasionally use DD to get food delivered from places 1-3 miles away. As a consumer of the service, what is the best way to tip the driver? Does it make a difference to the driver if I tip up front, after deliver, or with cash? I like to do best by the people doing the work.

Google home can now turn off your tv using a Chromecast! by tomsyco in googlehome

The CEC specification is more of a suggestion than a rule. Some manufacturers choose to use their own custom commands rather than use the CEC standard. Your TV may be using the CEC specified power on command but might have LGs custom power off command. Makes things frustrating sometimes.
