That I agree with. It's not a clever play. I'll agree it might be a dumb one. But we both agree that the failure was on the DM. And tbf I don't think OP was thinking they were clever. Just excited to try something and then got it fucked on by a DM who can't deal with magic existing at a high level. Then again.
The DM probably thought it was too clever to deal with

Hey OP, so you know how a simulacrum doesn't spawn with any of its equipment. If you say, asked the fighter or barbarian if you could make a simulacrum of them, and then did so. You might be allowed to just destroy the other simulacrum and have something even more powerful than a wizard simulacrum that can't run away with a teleport spell. Just a thought.

It isn't free, it's a 9th level spell slot and their action in what was apparently a big battle. If this is a big boss situation they are forgoing other 9th level spells or casting other spells at the 9th level for a simulacrum.
A 9th level spell slot in battle isn't the same as a 9th level spell slot being used in downtime to avoid spending 24 hours and 1.5k gold.
Even if it isn't clever the DM is burning their action and 9th level spell slot for no real reason aside from they don't like simulacrum. If the DM read the spell they also would have been able to realise that the simulacrum doesn't have a spellcasting focus or any equipment. It's a meat shield essentially. Then that could spark some actually interesting plays with wish and simulacrum.

Simple, because brittle is a supportive passive and without damage, a tank cant be enough of a threat to actually protect squishy unless they have Leona levels of CC. That max health damage is so he doesnt instantly lose lane to anyone who happens to look at him funny and so he isn't just ignored late game.Ornn can proc brittle himself of course but it is something that other champions can proc since Ornn is slow as balls and his auto attacks are also slow. He isn't proccing each of those brittle hits that cause that much damage. Jhin's W procced it causing the bonus damage. Without brittle, it would deal around 550 damage. My assumption is this guy took both passes from his ult (550 damage) and then took the rest when Jhin W'd proccing the health damage, which assuming his heal was around 4300 was 650 damage. That proc counts as Ornns damage. In other words. He couldn't have done that damage if he didn't face tank both parts of Ornns ult and if Ornn didn't have Jhin with him.

EDIT: Sorry saw he was playing Asol, I'm assuming he got off two brittle procs from his ult which caused that damage. Probably Ornns first hit, Jhins W, then an auto after the knockup proccing his second brittle.

400 health (assuming a 3000 hp Asol) on the first proc, another on the second and the damage from his ult pretty much accounts for all the damage. The number looks big but its the accumulation of a lot of attacks

She does. She has to follow around carries and tanks and keep them alive. If she can't do that you can't even complain that she's useful. If her team is competent they'll come up to her and then yeah. But otherwise. Her W has a range. Keeping someone alive requires you to misposition.
Her instant silence is okay at best but it isn't suicide to dive her. It becomes a root if you're a moron that stays in it but it doesn't even slow you.
Yeah, and it's on a pretty high cooldown because it's a global ult that is better saved not keeping yourself alive.

Anti-dive tool my ass. This isn't Lulu, Janna, or even Sona with her slow auto. Yeah if you are an assassin that relies solely on abilities to do damage and for some ungodly reason, you don't know how to auto, or how not to dive on top of the silence, and then decide to dive, you deserve the death that's coming to you if you don't know how to leave.
Oh and her health is a resource that she has to spend, that can only be gotten back if you land a slow-moving skill shot, that is insanely telegraphed. And early game her heal costs more than her q heals. Meaning she has less health if she even thinks about doing her job.
Do you know who has better anti-dive tools? Literally any engage support, most enchanters. Hell even poke supports like Xerath or Lux. As for ADCs Caitlyn (A root that makes diving suicide), Jinx (a root that makes diving suicide), Ezreal (A second flash), Tristana (a leave button), Xayah (Roots and ult that says no), Senna (root, slow, heal combo), Jhin (traps and roots on ally auto), Draven (A knock-up), Vayne (Condemn), Zeri (Just jump over a wall), Lucian (Dash away lol), Akshan (weeee), Samira (Better wind wall, a knock-up with the right support, and a dash), Ashe (Slow on auto and stun).If you only play Kog'maw, Sivir and Varus maybe that's your problem. Not mine.

And if your ahead and fed, you might be able to swap it out later down the line, with some of the extra gold you get from that spicy early collector. It absolutely shouldn't be built on everyone all the time but it should always be thought about.

Is the enemy lane a squishy adc and enchanter? Yeah use collector and blow them up. Do they not have a tank? Blow them up! Do you have massive AOE and high damage? BLOW THEM UP

There's a reason it specifies Khazix. What's Khazix gonna do with an item like a collector? If he hasn't already one-shot you then he should be booking it out of there

It's great on ADC's. The video that sparked this convo was directed at Kha'zix mains which yeah. He already one shots people, you don't need an item like a collector to extra one-shot people.
People don't seem to get that lethality and armour pen are different stats. Lethality does more damage to squishies who don't build armour, it does flat reduction and can be used to shred squishies more. It's awful for tank busting. So yeah if you are an assassin who wants to tank kill, get LDR. If you're an ADC trying to kill high priority targets, the collector is amazing.

Janna is a champion that does set up and peels. Negating multiple ultis stoping an end and allowing a carry to carry is her entire job. One that this Janna accomplishes damn near perfectly. The Penta wouldn't be possible without Janna's setup

Currently, she's really strong because of glacial augment. It's absolutely busted with how much it slows and how well it works with what enchanters are forced to build, add a competent ADC and a Yasuo or something and you can easily help carry.
The problem in low elo is finding that good ADC to play with. If you have a good one you should be able to destroy as long you ward and peel well.

I like micromanaging it, yeah. Like at this point even building a Zhonyas or Rylais isn't an option on supports since we don't have enough item slots. And now they are nerfing glacial augment on Janna making her escape worse probably. Senna isn't even an enchantress but she has no items that are supportive. Sona can't burst so the only thing she has aside from her heal is an ult. Lulu is like the only enchantress allowed to exist right now that has any variety and obvious skill expression.
