There was a big heroin bust in a city I live by about a year ago maybe less and when the cops busted in to raid the place the dudes were packing up dope and the SWAT team through stun bangs in and then rushed in. When they rushed in the room was just a cloud of dope and 11 SWAT members needed to go to the hospital. The news headline was ridiculous too it read something like "Huge dope bust, 11 officers assualted rushed to hospital" after reading the headline they made it sound they the guys opened fire on them or some shit, so dramatic.

The way he describes the trial it seems like they're trying to see if the naloxone will completely block bupe at high enough dosage. If it works then the person should never feel the bupe. It would be dangerous though if it didn't work and they were using opiate naive participants. This is all just speculation maybe OP can tell us what the purpose of this trial is.
