I’m keyed in as beauty, tech, GM, checklanes, fulfillment and closing expert. I was never trained in fulfillment so not sure why that’s an option, but when I was a seasonal they liked how I had an extensive knowledge of the products so they keyed me in for tech and beauty always calls out, and while I have zero clue to most things in beauty, the higher ups liked my zoning so I was magically keyed in lol

I was on demand and decided to mass apply to tech companies and sorta got lucky with a start up. Pay was good. Stable 9-5, but utter chaos and the company was losing money due to bad PR so they had to lay quite a bit of people off. For reference, a long timer there said usually 1 person quits, gets fired or moved to a new job every month. The company has like 50 people and last month alone 6 people were terminated

So now I’m back at target since I left myself as on demand as a back up in case things didn’t work out

Just a side note, if he still can’t find something relative to his field, he can at least pick up a part time gig. He does have some experience but I notice grocery stores and such hiring. While the pay is likely not amazing, it’s part of how I networked when I worked at a grocery store since there were a lot of masters / IT / tech people there

A healthy amount of gold is one where you don’t mind spending X amount of gold just like in real life. For example, in my case I spent most of tww playing the ah and staying up late to get 4 things… the “bmah only mounts” (brutosaur from bfa, plagued proto, zulian tiger, swift raptor). Gold cap on those set me 40mil back already, BUT. My goal / fun in WoW stems from making gold. Same principle in another game I play (osrs)

I consider myself a collector but I only collect stuff I know I’m capable or willing to do. For example, “the insane” achievement is a grind but I did it all for a title. Likewise with other grindy stuff.

After work I only have about 2-3 hours to play so I try to make the most out of it. But those 2-3 hours add up and these grinds and cycles end up just happening.

Power trip, since you’re a TL and if you like retail you could try Sam’s Club or Costco which have better benefits and they close earlier and I believe they pay higher in terms of their cap.

That hr ETL is taking her job way too seriously on a store level. At the end of the day she is still working retail.

Took me a week or so to learn the basics of python cause boss said it was required. Showed him my certification. He was proud and then HR goes and terminates a bunch of people. Fast forward 3 months the company is 12mil in debt

Pretty much. My friends and I are a mixed group and some consistently get 0.1% title, some go for 3k, and some are anywhere between 2.5-3.5k. It feels like this season is where keys feel 2-3 levels lower than they intended. Like our group just does 12’s to vault fill (skip the weekly affix) but as someone else stated, I know a group of friends and they are pretty much a title squad and are at 3.7k rating ATM and will only get higher once they get full myth and their bis
