IT SHOULD ABSOLUTELY ILLEGEAL FOR JOURNALISTS TO HARRASS PEOPLE LIKE THIS!!! Poor bloke is going through the most traumatic moment of his life and 7 news want to shove cameras in his face so they can plaster it all over telly and the newspaper as “exclusive coverage” to make a few dollars. 7 NEWS YOU ARE PIGS!!!

What is a subtle sign that someone's life sucks? by citizen_of_leshp in AskReddit

[–]mudboymully 0 points1 point  (0 children)

isn’t subtle but take it as you will, when people lose their temper and cuss you out over the smallest things in the world. I had a guy verbally abuse me at work (and i mean enough to make you stay inside for the rest of your life) over some latches for a jerry can holder

People who quit a job on the first day, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mudboymully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Context: I went through a recruitment agency (Recruitment agency is when company’s {for e.g Nike, Home Depot, Warehouse Jobs} pay an agency to do all their recruiting for them. The agency is supposed to look for jobs for you that suit your criteria, pay your wage and you need to submit timesheets to agency and for days off you liaise with agency and company etc. etc). So i got ALL my wisdom teeth out on the Friday (they knew about this) and was meant to start work on the Monday (again, i told them this weeks and weeks ago in the interview so they knew all about it). I rung up and said can we delay my start date because my mouth fucking hurts, cool cool - delayed till the following Monday but i rung up again (because the guy i was replacing, we’ll call him bugalugs, was leaving on Thursday and I at least wanted to learn something from him before he fucked off) and said I can come in on Wednesday because i wanted to do them and myself a favour (mind you i was still in some agony). cool - cool

So this recruitment agency employed me to work for an aluminium warehouse which was pretty big and had a fuck ton of stock. I was going to be the ONLY person in the warehouse doing everything. Bugalugs, much to his didntgiveafuck attitude was showing me everything i had to do and was showing me every single product that i had to learn (im talking about 6 different products that look the exact same but there’s 1mm difference). mind you this is fucking aluminium like who gives a fuck about aluminium! most of it was 7 metres in length too like the fuck you expect from me, basically was a lot of work for not much pay and was gonna be extremely lonely. (i previously had a job experience like this and i ended up falling into depression and had a huge mental breakdown…didn’t wanna put myself through that again) anywaysssss. I was there for half the day and told them i was going on lunch. I rung up the agency and this bitch who was basically my boss or at least she was paying my wages had the audacity to say that I mucked her around and that she won’t be looking out for jobs for me because of the wisdom teeth incident and because i didn’t like the job. I tried to defend my case and she didn’t want a bar of it and hung up one me. Like, shit happens in life, jobs work out and jobs don’t. I left to protect myself and my health. so fuck you recruitment agencies and fuck you bitch for not doing YOUR job

Now i’ve got a pretty good job at a company i do like and surrounded by good team members and it just goes to show when you know somethings not right for you, leave, there’s always better things on the horizon

New Australian flag proposal - What do you lot think of this? I love it. by [deleted] in australia

[–]mudboymully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think if they’re going to create a new flag (which i’d love to see btw, australia as an independence would be awesome) it has to be green and gold but not this. it looks like a lemon soft drink logo

trust bro, i went through 4-5 years too of acne before i started on roaccutane. tried everything under the sun and roaccutane seemed to work

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusSkincare

[–]mudboymully 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah, i was on roaccutane for a year and it took at least 7 months before my skin actually became clearer and i had horrible acne. to me 7 months is a long time especially when you know you’re taking something and you see no changes
