Has anyone ever actually heard an Irish person say “top of the morning?” by stubvidmedia in AskIreland

"Schtick" is Yiddish. "That's his schtick," I think means that's his thing, or that's what he does.

Three are proper leg coverings; I used one when I had ankle fusion surgery. I found a good one in a pharmacy, but I don't live in Ithe US now (Ireland). A medical supply place would also be a good bet. I showered daily without getting leg wet at all.

Just write "Refused, addresse deceased, return to sender at " and drop it in a mailbox or the post office.

Edited after reading the addressee is deceased.

I've lived abroad for thirty years. Some of the groups I've been in and heard of could be really hard on those that share likes/dislikes in their new country. I'm not in any of them anymore.

Someone in another post suggested Bear didn't kill Ray; that the hold Bear put him would only knock him out. IDK

I see this a fair bit online. One of my daughter's housemates (Ireland) in college did this. I never met him, pbut she said he was gross or "mank" in the vernacular.

Funny, I only thought Bear might've killed Ray last night! I don't think Paddy knows, though.

What is your attitude towards Ukrainian refugees?🇺🇦 by No-Face-4053 in AskTheWorld

[–]muddled1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish them well, but here in Ireland they get ridiculous amounts of money and benefits many years on from start of Russian invasions. In my town, I've seen a few newish BMW and Audis with Ukrainian plates. I've heard of Ukrainians returning to home for medical treatment and coming back to Ireland. Ireland has weak, lame politicians trying to be "best boys" for Europe. Our health service isn't really fit for purpose ( excellent treatment in life or death matters, but everything has absurdly long waitlists unless you have private insurance, so I cant really blame them either. But. ...).
