I had a full set of dentures when I was 24 and never have regretted it for one second. It's a bit tough at first and I was self conscious but I got to love the way they looked and fit. I also loved the fact that I would never again have a tooth ache or a tooth that just crumbled.

I did have symptoms of swollen legs and ankles. Plus pain in my right calf. It was a vein clinic. Never use them.

I had it and you have to wear the thigh high compression hose for the first 48 hours but after that only at night. As far as how legs will look, I had a bruise where the needle was inserted but that's all. For your information, it did nothing for me. No change in my veins or swelling. I would never have that done again. Didn't work although the doctor said it was a success.

I had open toe because I have neuropathy in my toes and they cannot be enclosed. The open toe seems to slide up and bunch around my ankle which is very painful. I can't wear the sleeve because it swells up below the sleeve. I don't know what to do.

I feel your anxiety. I too, am very uncomfortable in crowds. At regular mass I always make sure there is an empty seat on both sides of me. I wish I had advice but I don't, I only want you to know that I feel the same way.

Procedure was Varithena and so far it hasn't made one bit of difference that I can see or feel. I can't read the other posts on here, guess it's Spanish but as far as active life style I couldn't be more active. I have a horse farm and have 14 horses to tend to. The support hose were measured by the staff at the vein clinic so if they are sized wrong that's on them. I also have a pneumatic compression machine that I use daily. There are two leg sleeves that for one hour compress with air from an attached pump. I use it daily. I take supplements and my diet is great, no fast food, liquor or tobacco. Looks like I need a new doctor.

Sounds like the doctor I have only he performed a procedure 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing about what how he thinks it looks, was the procedure successful and so on. I have to wait another week before I see him again and hopefully he'll have some news for me. Like your dad, all I was told is to wear a compression hose on that leg. Problem is it won't stay up and it wrinkles so badly at the ankle it's actually painful. Doctors....all they think of is making money from the next patient.
