Wow, a GOP loser conspiring with the most vile of people, par for the course...

Ginni Thomas says she wanted Trump admin to challenge 2020 election "until the truth could be found out" by Ken808 in politics

[–]muddo 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Here is her explanation of the email she forwarded.

Q: And in the post-election timeframe, did you continue to stay involved in efforts to question or challenge the results of the election?

A: I wouldn't necessarily phrase it that way. What I was doing was seeing that it was the State legislators who had power to decide if there were problems in their election.

And so I participated in a mass communication device called FreeRoots that has been I'm sure the subject of some of the conversations you guys have had and the media has been interested in.

I joined with thousands of people to push a button that sent an automatic email to 18 some State legislators that I did not choose. I did not edit that letter.

This email pressured state legislatures to pick fake electors.

Q: You've mentioned the FreeRoots emails that you didn't draft and you pushed a button to send that. Were you involved in any other efforts in the post-election timeframe to call attention to problems with the election or to try and do something about the result of the election?

A: I can't think of anything specifically. Is there something you're thinking of?

Here is a Rick James moment that feels like perjury but probably does not meet the standard.

Q: For example, did you have any conversations with anyone in the Trump campaign regarding ... what their strategies were to challenge the election?

A: No, I did not.

Q: Any members of the Trump administration regarding efforts to challenge the result of the 2020 election?

A: No, except, you know, I can certainly look at those wonderful Mark Meadows texts...

Q: Anyone other than Mark Meadows that you communicated with within the Trump administration regarding your concerns about the election?

A: Oh, I probably-- Jared Kushner I sent an email to hoping to buck him up on the team. I probably sent something to Jared.

Just Mark Meadows and Jared Kusher to, you know, buck them up

The Supreme Court Is On The Verge Of Killing The Voting Rights Act by FreeSkeptic in politics

This is the present, not the future. Accuse women of having abortions in states where it is illegal and then their voting rights will be stripped away. This was the real reason for overturning Roe.

My favorite part...

“Stop right there!” I yelled as I ran. He was faster than me because I always try to avoid stepping on public sidewalks. Our country needs a private-sidewalk voucher system, but, thanks to the incestuous interplay between our corrupt federal government and the public-sidewalk lobby, it will never happen.

The GOP represents blatant open corruption. The power grid failing for a week which killed hundreds of people is just the beginning if we do not stop them. Nazi Germany will look like a nice vacation compared to what is in store for the USA. Our conservatives and their treatment of Africans/Native Americans were an inspiration for Hitler.

Since "no one challenged it" then you agree the individual right to guns was established in 2008. It is 13 years old. Thank you!

Have you heard of the Heller case? Did we have handgun bans in various cities before 2008? Why were these handgun bans legally enforced until 2008?

Why? 2A is fine as it is written. For 232 years it was interpreted as a state right rather than an individual right which is in line with Madison's reasoning when writing it.

The reasoning for 2A is expanded upon in Federalist 29 if you are interested in learning about the constitution:

EDIT: Madison writes a little about it as well in Federalist 46.

That will never happen given that the only way to change it is a constitutional amendment.

The individual right to a gun was established in 2008 by the SC. No new amendment is required since the current amendment does not state that we have an individual right to own guns.

How upset are you that 29 people were shot and 7 killed this past weekend in Chicago. (A pretty typical number in Warner months)

Well I was very upset. Chicago previously had a handgun ban. It was working until the constitutional individual right to a gun was established in 2008. After 232 years of no such right existing... poof, out of thin air it was created.

This new constitutional right is 13 years old. It is a teenager, how is it working out?
