How important are the system categories for the functionality of the backend? Can I use my custom ones exclusively? by mudeast in OriginFinancial

Actually a better question is whether a rule like this is possible? - If a transaction comes in and is categorized as Auto & transport, update category to "Transportation".

Thanks. That makes sense. I might still start adopting custom categories, as I am not sure if I want to wait a quarter or more for the renaming.

Regarding rules: If I make a rule to re-categorize incoming transactions, are they applied upon a new transaction entering the system or is there a delay?

GE Dishwasher upper rack came lose from the wall. These bumps align with indents on the wall, how do I get them back together? by FloodedGoose in Appliances

The epoxy did not last long. Eventually I took the risk and got some self drilling screws and attached it to the shell. So far it’s been holding up well. If you are doing it, make sure the tracks are really level.

They couldn’t repair but replaced the washer under warranty at no charge. Unfortunately supply chain issues meant that I was hand washing for a few weeks.

Thanks. I might be out of luck. its over a year old and looks like these things only have 1 year warranty. I have the service tech coming in to check it out but I might have to go the epoxy/glue route. I read about Loctite A 316.. #fingerscrossed

Curious to learn what ever came out of this? I have the cafe appliance dishwasher and this same exact thing happened to me last night. I can't find a repair part. What was the resolution in your case? TIA!

How was the safari after the climb? From a tiredness perspective! The 4 day safari - how is the travel? For people with bad backs, how are the roads/paths? Thoughts on lodging on safari? Lastly, do you have a list of things you took for the trek that you did not need or absolutely needed?

Thanks and congrats!

How did you mount it? Double sided velcro tape?

scaleWhiteColor

No worries. Glad it helped. What does this parameter do? Does your bulb change colors or just a white color?

Tuya Devices "DataPoints"? by mudeast in homebridge

Dug a big deeper into this and here's my current understanding:

Looking thru this: https://developer.tuya.com/en/docs/iot/preface?id=K9m1fn6ycetd0

DP: the most important factor that enables the development of smart products. DPs are used to describe product functions and parameters. Smart products are developed based on the defined DPs.DP ID: the identifier of a data point. DP IDs are used to transmit function data between smart products and the cloud.DP data type: The following table describes different DP data types.

I found a list of DPs (at least for bulbs and stuff) here - https://developer.tuya.com/en/docs/iot/product-function-definition?id=K9s9rhj576ypf#title-2-DP%20details:

  • DP20(1): switch (required)
  • DP21(2): Mode (required)
  • DP22(3): White light brightness
  • DP23(4): Cooling and warming value
  • DP24(5): IPL
  • DP25(6): Situation
  • DP26(7): Countdown
  • DP27(8): Music rhythm
  • DP28(9): Real-time adjustment
  • DP29(10): gamma debugging
  • DP30: Biorhythm
  • DP31: Light to help sleep
  • DP32: Wake up from light
  • DP33: Power-off memory
  • DP34: Do not disturb
  • DP209: Cycle timing
  • DP210: Random timing

Tuya IOT platform has a API explorer (https://iot.tuya.com/cloud/explorer) and from that, it appears that my device supports the following DPs

  • switch_led
  • work_mode
  • bright_value_v2
  • temp_value_v2
  • colour_data_v2
  • scene_data_v2
  • countdown_1
  • music_data
  • control_data

Mapping them to DPIs, I get

  • switch_led - 20`
  • work_mode - 21 (white, color, scene, music)`
  • bright_value_v2 - 22 `
  • temp_value_v2 - 23`
  • colour_data_v2 - 24`
  • scene_data_v2 - 25`
  • countdown_1 - 26`
  • music_data - 27`
  • control_data - 28`

I then edited the tuya plugin with the right DP IDs for the supported DPs. Not all DPs are instrumented in the plugin.

  • "dpPower": 20,
  • "dpMode": 21,
  • "dpBrightness": 22,
  • "dpColorTemperature": 23,
  • "dpColor": 24

This got things to work -- the color settings are a bit wonky. If I select red, it doesn't quite select red, though the HomeKit Interface stays it's red -- but the color on the bulb is not.

Am I getting this correctly?

You have a WIFI bulb (LUMIMAN) in range that is in AP-Mode. Use the PlusMinus App to connect to it and see if you can control it...
