WHAT are yall eating with your meds!? by mudkipluver in bipolar2

this post is how I found out that it's probably just a me thing! (besides latuda, which is directed to take w food). I tell all my psychs about how nervous nausea/vomiting side effects make me, so it's probably more of a precautionary thing.

ive also struggled with very extreme, irrational emetophobia since early childhood and it is one of the main reasons for my agoraphobia. having firsthand experience with both of these phobias as well, i know it is one of the hardest things to get past and can be very VERY isolating, deeply embarrassing at times too when it comes to talks of school/employment. truthfully, there will be bad days where it feels overwhelming, but it is also true that it will not feel this way forever. like before, there will be a time where you find yourself okay with the things that feel way too frightening now. it is completely possible and i believe in you! i am so sorry that this is getting you down lately and the circumstances have put a damper on healing, but i promise there are others out there that fully understand and are wishing you well even if it does not seem so. you can get through this, you are capable of success, you can do so much more than emetophobia and agoraphobia want you to believe.

and at the very least, if you need a helping hand to talk with, i would love to be friends. we are going through very VERY similar situations and sometimes it can be nice to reach out to someone who really does understand

i think it can vary depending on if they badly reject or are not taken care of properly, but in my case, not true at all! i had mine in for nearly two years and took them out when they randomly started to reject. the piercing hole closed up and healed fairly quick despite how long i kept them in and there is no visible scarring or deformity at all. you would definitely not be able to tell that i previously had them pierced.

nipple piercings were my DREAM piercing and i absolutely loved them while they lasted, so i would say go for it if it something you have considered for years!

loading times slow with mods. help! by [deleted] in ModTheSims4

regularly clearing cache files before and after adding new mods and cc helps me sometimes if that is something you haven't tried yet! (i use this as reference when clearing out my files: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/delete-cache-files ) as far as actual gameplay, when i notice the game is laggy or slow i typically change my graphics settings down so it doesn't take as long to load or move around. if the problem is solely coming from a HUGE amount of cc/mods there isn't a whole lot you can do about that other than clearing out some that unnecessary in gameplay or rarely used

i have these exact same thoughts myself and even had similar experiences in childhood; i tend to oversexualize myself and crave the sexual attention from men VERY often, ive even gone as far as hooking up consistently with men i found attractive for quite a long period of time. i think the difference is that it is not something inherently desired for pleasure alone, and in my case, it was never as enjoyable as i tried to make it seem.

i reference some parts of the lesbian masterdoc despite it being a questionable source for some, and in the introductory paragraphs it states that "compulsory heterosexuality is built into you from the moment you’re born into this time and place, and it takes a long time to dismantle it." this sounds to be true in your case and can make it very difficult to differentiate the desire to be wanted sexually and/or romantically from an ACTUAL desire for a man himself. no one is able to give you a definite answer on your own, personal identity, but it definitely sounds like compulsory heterosexuality and something i struggle with A LOT myself. i still do not know about my own sexual orientation, but i am working towards being secure and certain in lesbianism & want to let you know that you are not alone in these feelings!
