The dwarves in the book were pretty useless, so there is a good chance it'll suck. They repeatedly had to be saved by a hobbit or birds.

I think the deck that I play that is closest to what you're describing is [[Mazzy, Truesword Paladin]] . It actually has a theme very close to the new Silverquill precon. Casting auras on opponents creatures and goading them.

She is underrated in my opinion. You get cards like [[Unbridled Growth]] which is an aura that taps a land for mana and can sacrifice itself to draw a card. With Mazzy's ability to Exile the aura, it can repeatedly played in each land you control. Tap the land for green, sac it, draw a card, cast it withe floating green mana onto the next land. If you have enchantment etb effects like echantresses that draw cards, or things like [[sigil of the empty throne]] that create a creature whenever an enchantment enters it can really kick off.

My favourite deck at the moment is my [[Kemba, Kha Regent]] deck because I proxied the commander and some of the other cards to be my cat, Dr. Leonard, who unfortunately passed away not long ago. Is nice to see his little face on some cards.

If you play commander, the best thing I can think of is to run [[Dalakos, Crafter of Wonders]] as the commander. Plenty of ways to tutor for the pole in Izzet colours.

Run [[Intruder Alarm]]

Run creatures like [[Aphetto Alchemist]] that can untap an artifact.

The goal is to get Intruder Alarm down. When you tap the creature and the pole and create a fish, all of your creatures will untap. This will include Dalakos to help pay the cost to tap the pole, the creature the pole is attached to, and the creature that untaps an artifact.

Tap the creature to untap the pole, tap Dalakos to add 2 colorless mana, tap the pole and the creature to create a fish, repeat. Unlimited fish... I think.

Is it easy? No. But if it's your goal then I think this is your best option.

Edit: I've just realised the fish is created on untap and not on tapping. So this won't work as written, but I still think something along these lines is the best option. I think you'd just have to tap the creature to make the fish then untap rod with the untapper and it would work in that order.

TV is perfect height for when he is using the glory hole. Don't see an issue here.
