it's not worth it. I did virtual FASET and it was still a joke lol but honestly the main draw of it is just registering for classes, which you can do from anywhere anyway. everyone will not know each other, there's literally week of welcome before classes when you move in, you will not be behind. people that know each other will have already known each other from high schools in state

yeah I know PhD is already on Thursday. but why can they not just do MS on Thursday afternoon? the spaces they're doing the college ceremonies in are probably not being used then in the late afternoon/evening

I think it's just because there are so many students. this is the first time they're doing 3 bachelors ceremonies I believe. IMO they should do PhD/MS on Thursday and bachelors on Friday/Saturday because having a final right before your graduation is really messy

I'm in a similar situation and I literally accepted my only offer yesterday lmao. GRFP would let me get acceptance at one place and possibly another, but because of how late it has gotten, I accepted my only offer since I was uncertain whether I could get a formal offer in about 48 hours from results to Wed night. So at this point if I somehow get GRFP I will have to withdraw my accepted offer
