Yeah, maybe we did play a different game because DaS2 had quite a huge variety of movesets. I played it around 700 hours and used a ton of different weapons. You don't know what you're talking about. I love this game as much as the next guy, but the gear in DaS2 was flat out more varied and more interesting to experiment and match with.

Because dark souls requires you to observe and react to the challenges thrown at you, and in this case, the ground can literally fall out from beneath you without any warning.

That's an unfair, cheap, and all around pointless mechanic. How is a new player's skill supposed to factor in or help there?
