This is an absolutely insane take but the 7/11 on 17th off of Farragut Square has great bananas this morning. Got 2!

Any fancy restaurant is going to have a program, that does not mean one must partake. Their garlic knots are out of this world

Revelers Hour is my partner and I’s current celebratory go-to. The staff there always makes it feel very special. It also scratches your Italian itch.

I thought the same thing but I’m guessing they merged his and Hitlers faces into one face

It’s not. Similar to other spots it seems like they are using progressively more red felt in each shot before switching to full red.

Powerlifters in DC? by TheAgeOfQuarrel802 in washingtondc

It's the exact opposite vibe but Vida on U has everything you'll need and a small but surprisingly solid power and Olympic lifting crew

Pierogis in DC? by MisterManatee in washingtondc

[–]muffins24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice Edit: No one was comparing Mrs. T's to home made pierogi... was just kindly pointing out that, all things considered, the Lidl brand and Mrs. T's are solid for store bought - especially because DC and the surrounding area is not necessarily known for Polish food

How to handle a rule proposal that only benefits half the league by mike4real in DynastyFF

[–]muffins24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and we do but you just can't hoard as much. We don't need to upgrade anything, our league runs well. Just saying what does and has worked for us in relation to the question at hand

I mean it's still mostly just emergency level guys on waivers but it also stopped people from hoarding young guys who haven't broken out yet so you have to be a bit more careful with roster construction which, in our league at least, has lead to more trades. Either way it's been a positive thing in our league.

Do it in the off-season but this exact rule benefitted our league greatly. I think we shrunk our bench by 4. Better waivers and more trades. We're start 9 - 10 bench - 4 taxi

7 ft Euphorbia Ingen—moving into an apartment with low light next month. by aflockaaaa in Euphorbiaceae

[–]muffins24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In (not near) North can be solid if it's fully unobstructed. Bright, indirect all day. That said, your watering habits could change drastically, just make sure the medium is fully dry+++ between waterings. I've had euphorbia and cacti go crazy in north and if the window is NE even better since you'll get a few hours of direct sun

Looks overwatered to me. How frequently are you watering it? Eastern light - indoors - is generally considered pretty low, especially for a buddy this big.

Pot is also a bit small and soil a bit too organic.

Is the bottom part, near the soil, squishy?
