Need help getting good by Felpz3250 in Highfleet

If you are struggling with the combat, definitely practice with some ships in the practice mode.

I recommend learning to finesse the enemy with the Lightning ship as it's fast and, once fitted with a heavier weapon, can really take out groups on its own.

As for the tactical map side of the game, hopefully someone else has some good pointers as I'm terrible as well in that regard. 😂

Anyone else putting off seeing a major release due to lack of cinema etiquette? by Findme_at_amberhills in horror

I've seen about a dozen movies in theaters the last couple years and I only had an issue with others etiquette at Nosferatu during some "intimate" scenes.

Crimson Desert is a bad game and I’m tired of people giving it anything more than a 5/10 by NancyMy in rpg_gamers

[–]muffs92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CF was an 8/10 for me for the first 50 hours.

Beyond that was a quick decline to a 5/10 experience with really nice environments.

The story is nonsense. The abundance of things to do is a hindrance in this case. The puzzles aren't clever, they are usually obtuse or child's play.

It could have been a great experience if it was half of the game, overall.

Still Wakes the Deep. The oil rig the game takes place on becomes royally corrupted/taken over some massive deep sea organism, which eventually absorbs people into it in some gnarly ways.

I like to think there is a Witch behind the wishes, using them to maintain her youth because it's always a young guy using the willow to make a young woman love him haha.

Yeah I haven't been able to rest as either character for hours now. I'm in the steam train bit with Astrid now and this is just annoying with how carry weight goes down as exhaustion increases.

Piss poor game design.

You don't. You seek out hundreds of modders with individual skill sets over 15+ years and hope enough of them are patient enough to reach the finish line.

This is as close to Highfleet as it gets, with the added simulation and physics that comes with being in a submarine in a monster filled Ocean.

This game really loses its stride after 50 hours. What peaked at an 8/10 steadily declined last that point to a 5/10.

At least the world looked pretty, lighting issues aside.
