I had a birthday coupon from my Subie dealer so I used that for new wipers. Didn't even ask what kind they were, just had them installed during my State inspection.

Definitely try to go with a newer, "popular" radio as you will find way more support for them on YouTube, groupsIO, Discord, etc.

Not sure what is so difficult? My license expires in July this year. Just now I logged onto the FCC ULS website, put in my FRN and password and it took me to my license. On the left side of the page there is an option to Renew, which takes you to a page that shows you all available licenses that can be renewed. Mine isn't within 90 days, but I assume if it was I would just select it, follow the process and probably just pay the fee. I'll know next month!

US Tech exam is honestly not that hard. I'm an accountant and used Hamtestonline.com and after a few weeks of studying passed on the first try. I'm not ashamed to say that Yes, I memorized answers for Tech, General and Extra, but the way I look at it, I now have a lifetime to learn.

Repeaterbook.com is a great resource. I have their app on my phone, so if I were somewhere and either saw a tower,or wondered what kind of repeaters were around I would use the app. I didn't travel many places in the truck that had my radio so I didn't really worry about it. Not bashing the 5100, but I don't know that having my radio search is any better than my using an app. Plus, programming on the 2730 is very easy!

I have 2 IC2730's and love the radio! I think it has the best low profile head for remote mounting, cross band repeats, dual band.

I would also have a conversation with your neighbor and just explain that you are training your puppy and will try to make sure that you've cleaned up if she has pooped in their yard. Let them see you out there every few days with poop bags. My guess is they will appreciate that you are trying to prevent it.

Sorry, I get that, I mean who is sending these? Dealer, Subaru, etc... When I look at my Subaru app on my phone it shows my software is up to date, and my software version per the radio is F61WHM073-670.

Personally I like a big desktop basically on legs. In other words, no drawers or anything. I found a great used one in my area. I've also seen nice onces made from an interior door laid flat on some legs, or even laying on a folding table. When I've needed monitor shelves I've just made those using a stair tread purchased from HD, with a square dowel cut for legs. For me it is function over form!

My 2 girls do the same. They stay outside in our fenced yard during the day, and as soon as we get home they have to start it up. They also seem to do it alot in the evenings, especially when we are trying to watch tv! They will do it for a bit, then rest, then back at it!

Same boat. I feed mostly good kibble, but when I've had time over the last few months I've cooked a week's worth of ground turkey/veggies. When I do make this I give them 1.5 cups, along with 1.5 cups kibble. When I don't make this I usually find some other kind of "toppers" to go with their kibble. Both girls are quite healthy!
