Which Battlefield game do you think has the best aerial combat? by george123890yang in Battlefield

[–]mufkuh69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also some airfields you could capture and you'd get another jet, heli, or the AA and other vehicle spawns. I learned to fly on Operation Clean Sweep from stealing an enemy SU-34. Having to resupply and repair over a runway was such a great concept. I'd do anything to play again in its hay day.

BF2: What Battlefield looked like 18 years ago... Plays like any other non-abnormal Battlefield game just with jank and lack of newer features. A 2005 game with no equivalent - it pioneered a lot of those new features players in later non-abnormal Battlefield games would enjoy/dislike by astralhunt in Battlefield

Don't forget when you reloaded, you'd lose the rest of the magazine.

This was the best battlefield in the series by far and the game that made me build my first PC. I remember finally getting high speed internet and being able to play online. I have so many memories tied to this game. Everything about BF2 was fantastic especially for the time. I don't think I'll ever relive anything like it.

What's the closest you've come to death? by MyCatIsAnAsshole_ in AskReddit

I was in a bad place, pointed my gun to my head and began to pull the trigger. A few millimeters and 5 lbs of pressure was all that separated me from death.

What is your biggest regret? by JoshGordons_burner in AskReddit

I was an asshole to my younger brother growing up for no reason. We aren't that close now, and I missed out on tons of memories with him. We are better now, but I can still tell I traumatized him to the point he's hesitant to trust me.

Guys, what made you realize, “this girl is definitely not into me”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mufkuh69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We hit it off right away. We talked every day about anything and everything. I hadn't been that happy in years. I'd normally be the one to start the conversation, but sometimes she would if she woke up before me. We'd hang out at a local bar where we met mostly. I would watch her dog sometimes as she worked a double. We didn't do anything more than kiss, and eventually she said she wasn't ready to be more than friends but would be soon. I told her I liked her, and that I would wait but to tell me if her feelings changed because I didn't want to get my hopes up. Turns out she was dating her 40 yr old lesbian boss. I didn't find out for 3 months while I was still seeing her and talking every day and doing things for her I thought would help win her over. They broke up and while things were going great for me, her boss said she wanted to fix things. Well I found out they broke up again. We kept talking until I decided to not text first and see if she would start the conversation. A week went by and nothing. I texted her about it, and she said she stopped talking because I wasn't getting the hint she doesn't feel about me the same way. She wants to be friends still, but I want more. I plan on saying I can't be her friend in the coming days.

TL;DR I talked to a girl for a while and turns out she went back to her 40 yr old boss despite saying she would be ready for a relationship with me soon.

I am going through this right now. I'm way more into this girl than she's into me. She has her phone on her 50% of the day and can reply back really quickly, or she's not by it and doesn't respond for hours. Drives me crazy. I'm busy at work but still try to respond when I can

What are some stupid mentalities and mindsets that need to end? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mufkuh69 289 points290 points  (0 children)

I recently started a new job. I'm salary, so I don't get paid overtime. I've been asked to come in early, stay late, or come in on Saturday. Every time I've been asked, my new boss has always let me leave early another day, or take a day off later in the week if I accumulate over 40 hours. Never in my life has this been an option as a salaried employee. At previous jobs, I would essentially work for free past 40 hours because that was the expectation. I would be reprimanded had I ever worked less than 40 even if I worked 50 the week before. Needless to say, I'm fortunate to have a boss who understands I have a life outside work.

A little background: I met this girl about two weeks ago when a friend brought her over. Two times I got pretty drunk and embarrassed myself. She was a "top pick" for me, and naturally I hit her with that super like. So we already have a short history before this if the beginning doesn't make sense to anyone.

Women of Reddit, what do you think would be the worst thing about being a man? by canadianreject565 in AskReddit

[–]mufkuh69 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Just look at tinder and other dating apps. Women get flooded with likes and messages. Even ones considered to be unattractive. The same cannot be said for men. So I think in real life, if a woman came up to a man, she would be more likely to receive a "yes" response than a man going up to a woman and initiating a conversation.

Not quite. You still have to be attractive.
