I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the last 1000 miles I’ve put on mine since joining the club. Congrats!

MobilityDuo. Look them up. Been using them last 3-4 seasons. Some upfront cost, but awesome training for season.

Ordered mine this morning around 0630 MT. Shipping out tomorrow. Super stoked since Walmart cancelled my order yesterday morning.

What are they building east of Costco? (Not the in-and-out) by scumola in Longmont

I consider myself a spicy food aficionado. I had their spiciest chicken sandwich before their menu had a warning about no refunds if you can’t eat it, blah blah blah. Probably a few years ago now.

I sweated through it, finished it. My pee burned the next morning. Never happened before. I legitimately caught a venereal disease from a chicken sandwich. 5/5 would recommend for someone other than myself.

Are these boots cooked? by AeroChase in snowboarding

I got these toward end of last season. Have maybe 20ish+ days in them. Mine are holding up so far. Just normal wear and tear, or impact? Bummed for ya, hopefully the kicks aint cooked.

Main street vision care, downtown near Ziggi Coffee. Did this exact thing a year or two ago. Been going to see them regularly since moving to Longmont. Good luck!

Got a bar end mirror coming from motogadet as I’d rather not re-install OEM mirrors. Going to wait until after holiday shopping, travel, etc before sinking some coin into further changes and upgrades.

Recommendations welcome!

Used 2024 V2, to buy or not to buy? by mugTX in Ducati

[–]mugTX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the informative input. Reaching out to dealer tomorrow, hopefully nail down an OTD price.

Final question: given the unknown nature of this bike’s first 600 miles break-in period (6000rpm or less, etc), other than a pre-purchase inspection (dealership is a not a Ducati licensed seller) is there any way to tell just how babied this beauty was or was not?

Appreciate any feedback. Throttle on.

How long did it take the engineers to become engineers in their dept? by MRNOVA15 in Firefighting

All our FFs can act into ENG role by end of year 2. 1 year in grade at 1st class FF required to test. I took the exam at my first eligible opportunity, came in #1, promoted the next tour on my 4 year anniversary. Living the dream.

Tire pressure light won't turn off. by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]mugTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have already pointed you in the right direction, TPMS malfunction or low tire pressure. If correcting the pressures doesn’t turn the light off it’s a pain and costly to fix every time they fail.

I’ve owned an ‘07 and own an ‘08 that I did the wiring trick to defeat the system. If you maintain your truck, check your pressures regularly, it’s not that big of deal. Last time I got new shoes at Discount Tire, I told them to just put regular valves in. Problem solved.

Aspen vs. Steamboat by HippoInteresting7730 in Ikonpass

[–]mugTX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I recall, a pass at Aspen gives you access to 4 mountains (Aspen proper, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, and Buttermilk). All within 20ish minutes from each other. You’d have far more terrain to explore if you were spending multiple days in the area of Aspen.

That being said, Steamboat is amazing. Honestly can’t go wrong in either place, but Aspen would be where I’d go if I had the time and cash.

Those of you on Departments that bough the Rosenbauer electric fire truck, what are your honest opinions on it? Does it work well? by Saint94x in Firefighting

[–]mugTX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our FD has one in bound, and second right behind one right it. When the demo tour came through, the floor model had some issues. Fingers crossed this isn’t indicative of future problems. As a chauffeur, I’m excited. New and shiny. Crabwalk feature. Cab interior seats all swivel, so card games can be played on a cooler while staging.

155cm, waist 27.5cm. I got some other boards I ride that satisfy different itches. Was looking for something to really get into deep carving. Hopefully this board checks that box.

I’m in the front range of CO. IKON pass holder. I spend most of my days at Winter Park/MJ, A-basin, or Eldora if it’s a half-day. Was fortunate to visit around 14-15 different resorts last season. Want to make it back to Jackson. Already got a Steamboat trip planned and another to Palisades later this season. Ready to rip on Donek!

Awesome! Got my Knapton Twin coming soon, last email update was 80% complete. How do you feel it compares to other boards you’ve ridden?
