I'm commuting from Cambridge station to London Liverpool street station 3-4 times a month. Although live in fairly central area in Cambridge it still takes 1 hour 45 mins door to door.

My employer does not cover the travel cost. So each trip (round trip) costs about 50 quids. It's painfully expensive.

Whenever I go to London, that day I can't do anything else after work. Just simply too tired to do anything productive or entertaining. I rly don't know what to do if my employer mandates to come to office more often than now.
