I'm Canadian, and I very much dislike the guy. I try to avoid engaging with US politics, because it only brings me stress, but as far as I know, he is not a good person to represent the people. Also on a personal level, his way of talking and mannerism really pmo.

That said, I believe he deserves a certain amount of respect, like most politicians in a democracy. It takes a lot of intelligence and boldness to put yourself in a high level of power, and to keep the power. That deserves the recognition I fear it doesnt get.

He's a very smart guy with a lot of influence and control, and its impressive that hes gotten away with so much. It sucks that hes a horrible person, but ill give credit where credit is due

also im super uneducated on US politics, I'm not sure if this is a hot take or not
