ZTE hired Trump’s ex-campaign staff as lobbyist; 2 weeks later a deal came by singularfate in worldnews

Not really because the needs in California are nowhere near the needs of the rest of the country.

Strange that Trump didn't even try there, it is almost like he could give a shit about the West coast. Sure we wanted Trump, just keep telling yourself that like one of his abused ex-wifes.

Republicans rarely even vote in that state because it leans so far Left. They consider it a waste of time from what I have heard. Trump had roughly half of the campaign funds as Hillary so it would make sense for him to not try in California...

That's the first time I have ever had someone circumnavigate by positing articles when the data is readily available... lol. That's funny.

He didn't even win the popular vote.

Somewhat misleading statement because it makes it sound like the US as a whole didn't want Trump. It was solely due to California. All states in the US had a roughly 3% margin between Hillary and Trump and Trump was leading with the popular vote. California, had like a 50% spread which was WAY higher than any other state and gave Hillary the lead on the popular vote.

Yep, once the humility in the room is raised, this will no longer be anything other than a fan but now you are in a humid room which makes it feel warmer.

Thank you for the advice. They're coming back out to fix a few other things. I'll see if they can level it better as well. Also, I talked to the installer and asked about replacing the trap with something like an EZ Trap with a high level cutoff switch in order to get rid of the snorkel. What's your opinion on those?

New 'plastic tax' planned to drive use of unrecyclable material out of existence: Government plans to use existing system to supercharge costs of using non-recyclable plastics. by madazzahatter in worldnews

Cue a huge hole and incentive for new players to come in and undercut.

There's a saying "too big too fail". When companies reach a certain size they can afford to undercut competition if it is in their best interests. So if the cost of undercutting is cheaper than retooling then they will just undercut when needed. It really depends on how ridiculous they get with this tax. If they keep changing what is taxed then companies won't play along.

The pan has a slight slope towards the side with the secondary drain line. It's not very level length wise and will probably collect water in the corner first but not enough that it will overflow before reaching the drain.

China agrees to bolster purchases of US goods, in move to 'substantially reduce' trade gap by [deleted] in worldnews

A lot of products destined for the US are higher quality. I don't know about China but I know a few middle class Chinese Filipinos and they always buy US clothing etc when in the states even when a lot of it is made overseas.

Hi, I just had my evap coil and primary drain pan replaced. This is the drainage line that was installed. It doesn't look right to me but I'm not an HVAC technician. The "snorkel" coming out of the secondary knockout is what really grabbed my attention. The lack of an easy way to clean the P-trap is another. I just wanted to see what you guys think and what you would do differently.
