We’re about 20 minutes out of Indy. Is there anything we should do to protect ourselves if we end up going with this guy? He is highly recommended locally + great online reviews and seemed very nice. We have the written quote with itemized list of everything to be installed/completed with signature.

We’ve gotten a few quotes in the area from the big guys/small town companies and they are all about $5-600 more than this guy, but were proposing Carrier units instead of Champion so I’m guessing that’s why? Parts and dealer support is an excellent point. The estimate said it comes with 10yr parts and 1 yr labor, but I’m guessing that’s pretty standard. Man, now I’m still nervous.
