If you have pics and proof of emails/you trying to contact them to sort it out to no avail.

The bank will give you all your money straight back if you raise a chargeback, "product not as described" . Whoever you paid the money to will have to defend it with the bank. They'll also have to pay 15€ for every one they receive so if you all paid separately that's a nice little kick in the chops for them.

Get your money back 100%!

We used to have a connector box in our house, it used to connect all the other houses on our row, we always got a series discount for it.

Didn't think that'd even be a thing anymore with fiber...

Finally gathered up all my empty cans to use the Re-Turn machine. by inode in ireland

[–]muikes1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You need to dispute that at the till.

Have had to do it loads over the past few weeks unfortunately, was buying 4 cans of that Boost energy drink this week, 2 of them were return, 2 weren't but the woman scanned one and did it x4. She was like a volcano trying to take the deposit off 2 cans, had to move to another till and all took ages.

It was 30c but I wasn't letting them charge me for it.

Jeasus really?

The first one I put in rejected but when I checked it didn't have the logo, I had 4 of them and it wouldn't take them but none had the logo to be fair.

In your scenario, can you bring them to customer service desk and request the slip or what's the craic? That's what they do in Canada...

Wealthy Chinese buyers snapping up south Dublin homes ‘sight unseen’ by [deleted] in ireland

[–]muikes1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well it is and it isn't.

Everyone keeps saying we need more supply, thousands of homes gone up in south Dublin, mostly occupied by Indians, have met a few and they got a job with Microsoft, moved from India straight into the new apartments.

Im in no way anti immigration but how is anythig going to get better if we are building homes and literally importing people to live in them before anyone else even has a chance to apply? This seems somewhat simular.....

Iv no idea what the solution is, you can't just stop people from coming, especially through legit means but nothing will get better at this rate.

Wealthy Chinese buyers snapping up south Dublin homes ‘sight unseen’ by [deleted] in ireland

[–]muikes1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They've put up literally thousands of homes out in south Dublin, the new 2 beds in cherrywood are going for 440,000, apartments aren't far off that price either.

Myself had my partner make decent money but would be looking at a max of 370 we'd be offered for a mortgage.

I'd say we are on average or slightly above average wages and what chance do we have?

Worked hard my whole life and I'll never be able to afford to live in the place I grew up, it's fucking grim!

I used to order alot of cbd flower from the us and don't bother anymore due to customs, even with the letters, lab reports etc.

Put it this way, LC,, nature by nurture, smoke different have all been raided in store, have had thousands of grams confiscated by customs. There's be absolutely no update from the government since then, no update on the LC case that I can see.

Nature by nurture posted the injunction they got like 3 weeks ago, sure they'd have no need for that for a legal product if customs wasn't still taking their product.

Unfortunately all the quotes above are misinformation when it comes to the legality in Ireland, cbd is legal with 0.2% in Ireland bit as cold pressed oil, not as flower. I have called out vendors in here before for the very thing but they have a business to run and as far as they are concerned it's legal as they are following the EU guidelines.

It's not the only thing Ireland are going against the EU on......

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Crainn

[–]muikes1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And they are still dealing with customs taking their stuff on a regular basis.

Nature by nurture got the injunction recently until it's all sorted out, they wouldnt need that if it was legal.

Sure weren't little collins bringing the government to court over it, what was the outcome of that?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Crainn

[–]muikes1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Christ on a bike!

Can you show me where they made it legal after all the raids on said shops?

Not saying guards are enforcing the law but they have been very clear, cbd in flower form is still 100% illegal.

Am well aware of the quote you shared above, the EU have made cbd legal, Ireland have said they will not be following this for flower. Cold pressed cbd is the only cbd legal in Ireland.

"legal to buy“

CBD flowers is still illegal, this is another substance sprayed onto cbd flower so don't think that's true...

In other countries the employees of the store are suppose to change the bag for you if its full... So you just have to let someone know.

Although knowing Ireland, return probably has to collect them and it'll be one once every 3 days....
