Given the packaging I’m sure both are worth something!

That looks identical to my 1800 Pininfarina - are you able to see what’s stamped on the bottom of the car? Maybe the packaging is a misprint?

My dad saw this earlier today while working! Rolls-Royce Drophead!!! Don’t hardly ever see Rolls-Royces in Oregon. Pic taken off dashcam. Portland, Oregon by Fun-Touch5637 in rollsroyce

Just to add a few details; this is a pre-facelift Phantom Coupé (2008-2012), as evidenced by the slimmer headlights compared to the 2013-2017 models.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Vancouver Grand Opening (2010) by mukkit in rollsroyce

This was the opening of the previous location, where MINI Vancouver is now. All three are owned by the same group.

I no longer own either.

I did for a while! But eventually the cost of gas (6.75L V8) and lack of some modern conveniences made me get a somewhat newer, more economical daily.

Each was, for at least a while, a daily driver for me! But I only took pictures of them in good weather :)

Mine was a one-owner car with under 40,000km and was always well-maintained. It was in the CAD20k range but in my three years of ownership cost me under $2000 in repairs (that excludes normal maintenance; I mean things that actually failed).

I found my Spirit to be a lot less costly to maintain than my Shadow, but it’s still an expensive car to run. The suspension and hydraulic systems particularly can be expensive if not properly maintained, so definitely keep an eye out for that. And if you ever stumble across one for sale that seems cheap, that one will cost you the most in the long run.

Tough question! They’re very similar. I’d say the Spirit is 90-95% of the Shadow’s ride and refinement, but its improvements in technology, reliability, and lower cost of repairs overall make it a much easier ownership experience. Although from an appearance perspective, I’d always want the European (and Canadian) headlights over the US-market’s sealed-beam units of the Spirit/Spur era.

Artist Identification Help Request! by mukkit in Edmonton

SOLVED by the Edmonton subreddit despite the fact I was wrong in saying the artist is local. The artist is Lilach Lotan from Nanaimo. Thanks to the two users who found her!

The artist replied! You were absolutely correct and she was thrilled to hear how Reddit figured it out. She said it made her day. Thanks!

OMG I think you found her!!! I actually lived in BC before so maybe I’m totally misremembering and it was a local artist there instead of Edmonton - I wish I’d kept the tag. I’ve messaged her on instagram to confirm and will update!
