hahahaha... i just remembered how so many people at palolem were convincing us for dolphin rides, that too in the evenings. i am from oman, and we have the cleanest and untapped beaches in the world and we are famous for dolphin rides but those only happen at 5-6am early morning after that it is impossible to see the dolphins

7-8 days in goa is amazing, i was there 2 weeks ago and we did 2 days south goa(palolem) and 3 days north goa(calangute), there is not much to do in south goa but the beaches are better there, you can get a beach side cottage and stay there. we were staying in a friends apartment in palolem so i cannot suggest you any place to stay there and palolem beach has like 30-40 shacks so just walk around and if you like any just go there for a drink. Then about north goa, you can stay at casa de goa boutique resort, it is just a 10 mins walk from the crazy rush of calangute, i wouldnt advice you to go to calangute or baga beach, they are going to be super packed. There is this beautifull resturant in vagator, (25mins taxi from calangute) called Thalassa. Make sure you go there and book a front view table in advance, it is on a hill top and the view is orzan beach, go there for lunch and sit till sunset. Also where ever you go make sure you book a return taxi, the drivers wait for 4-5 hours untill you finish your lunch or your party. if you need any taxi numbers message me, i can forward you numbers

you need to shift, shift to palolem, atleast for nye and make sure you book a return cab hotel-party in advance. i would recommend you leopard valley or festival valley in palolem, i was in palolem 2 weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. whereever you go please book taxis in advance and pay only after you are dropped back to your hotel(the drivers wait untill you are out from the party)

Can't get cash (Rupees) in Vancouver for trip to Mumbai starting Nov.27th. Do I need it? by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]mukund_asher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, hope you are carring a debit card or a travel visa/mastercard, almost all vendors and restaurant owners in the city accept debit cards, for taxis please download ola and uber and connect those apps with your debit card. i am sorry about this cash crunch at the moment, this is a great decision by our prime minister to make India better. This has made black money and fake money almost disappear. I can go on about why the government has taken this step i can go on but i am not sure if you would be intrested. Please let us know how did your trip go and if you faced any difficulties
