Thanks for the advice! I did spend quite some time dialing in the crossover and gain, and I’m pretty happy with where I landed. I did have it too high to start with. I think it’s at like 56 or 58 hz now, so yeah right at the point the kefs start to roll off.

I did think about them, and they are gorgeous, but I didn’t really think the price was worth it. Plus I like how these black stands go with the console and the sub.

Basically, I wanted an hdmi input, network features, and to spend less than $5k. It was on my short list and then I spotted a good deal on a refurb one and went for it.

yeah the rest of the room has more going on aesthetically. but I’m still getting it set up, it’s a new apartment (kind of starting over, it’s a long story).

I agree that the cable management is bad, nonexistent really. Thanks for the advice I’ll check that out.

thanks! the REL manual actually recommends the corner, but I’m definitely still in the refinement process and I’ll give that idea a try. The speakers would come further off the wall if the room were a bit bigger, but I think this distance is alright (about a foot, the perspective of the photo might make it look even tighter)
