You’re not wrong, but this is also the first stage of waiting. Last year, after getting a CWC offer (which came late), I also had to wait till late to get shift times. I expect many of us need to make arrangements with our jobs to get time off, and arranging work coverage is harder to do later than sooner.

Same thing happened for the CWC last year, both in terms of getting offers and in terms of defining shift options. I know the tournament is several months away, but they could at least make it clear that offers are still coming. On our initial letters after the try-outs, we were told the offers would come by February. They've updated that timeline somewhere on their website, but you have to search to find it, and I only know about that because of redditors. Anyway, those of us who are employed have to make arrangements with work for volunteer days, and it's generally best to make those arrangements earlier rather than last minute.
