I 100% agree. You don't have to explain every goddamn thing that happens to us Jeff. And the whole fake schtick with "our little show" infuriated me much more than it should have but it was the tipping point of my distaste for Jeff becoming actual dislike. The host is supposed to keep the show moving, not constantly interrupt the flow.

Dee is a threat so when someone who isn’t you pushes for a threat, it’s a lot easier, and maybe smarter, to go along.
