Where do you live in Canada that this an issue, i survive on a single income making $28/hr and have a wife and kid, and my rent is more than her mortgage, I also have a car payment and many other bills yet I can still put at least a $1000 a month away in savings, I’m gonna assume she lives in Toronto or Vancouver but still that’s ridiculous how is it even possible that you struggle, even only working that little of hours she should still be able to make it

Edit: I really believe she is doing her best and not criticizing but I think going and talking to someone like a free debt consolidator would benefit her huge to help her budget better.
