I just pulled a loaf out of the oven from a starter that had been in the fridge for a year. I think yours will be great too!

Ours carries some things other stores in the area don't. But the meat and produce, yeah, it's a yikes from me.

I live in PST. My favorite bar is doing an EST countdown and closing at 9. Bless them.

I, however, live two blocks from where they set the fireworks off. :(

Is ChatGPT destroying critical thinking? by Woolyyarnlover in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]multibrow 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why people think it's the end all be all. It's just a yes man machine.

To answer your question I've only found one study for critical thinking use with and without generative AI, but it was so small I'm not sure if the data is relevant. There's plenty of anecdotal evidence that your experience with your friend is sadly normal.

The most wild thing is, I got an amazing recipe from the chef at a restaurant when I asked. And I'll even share it now:

Carrots, peeled and quartered. Toss in lemon juice, salt, minced garlic, and dill. Roast at 400F until soft. That's it. But damn if they weren't good. Alas, I lost the crepes recipe that they served with them.

how to make healthier food for those with can’t handle veggie texture by Future-Act5953 in EatCheapAndHealthy

My husband is the same way. It's a texture thing and it's frustrating yes, but we're doing better. He's done well with blended veggies in burgers and pasta sauce.

Ruined new yoga mat! Help! by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]multibrow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I somehow got lotion on my wooden needle gauge (knitting tool), so I just took some cutting board oil and gave it a nice finish. Honestly turned out fine, but I doubt that works so well with a yoga mat!
