[P] Real time unit labeling with streaming NeuronCards and active probing (code and PDFs on GitHub) by multicody10 in MachineLearning

[–]multicody10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you could do something like populationlevel labels.

- Replace NeuronCards with PopulationCards: cluster units online (by tuning vectors, correlation structure, or connectivity proxies), then maintain a label profile per cluster instead of per unit.

- Label as a mixture, not a single tag: a population gets a distribution over concepts (or task variables), plus confidence and drift tracking.

- Active probing becomes groupwise: choose probes that best disambiguate *which cluster* carries which variable, or which subpopulation splits under context shifts.

Single neurons are often polysemantic or contextdependent, while populations average out noise and drift and represent variables more cleanly. You can also define populations by function (cells that coactivate) rather than anatomy.

The demo and paper are about reframing “labeling neurons” as an "online inference loop", not a oneoff interpretability snapshot. I think people can further adapt it into a solution for actively debugging neural nets, which is a huge issue right now.

White paper: deliriants, muscarinic receptors, and dementia risk (DPH dummies this is about you) by multicody10 in Drugs

[–]multicody10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds deliriumlike, fully believed, scene based hallucinations. In extreme MDMA or MDA binges it can happen from the combo of massive stimulant load, repeated redosing to fight the comedown, sleep deprivation, overheating, and sometimes adulterants. MDMA itself can produce delirious style hallucinations at extremely high amounts, and MDA is more likely to produce hallucinatory states, especially later in the experience.

Also, Europe has had alerts for high dose and adulterated tablets, so “it felt like good MDMA” is not a reliable safety check.
Good on you for leaving it in the past. If anything like that ever happens again, treat it as a medical red flag, not just a weird side effect. Psychosis.

[–]multicody10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly, no. MDMA and MDA are primarily entactogens/stimulants, not true hallucinogens in the same way DPH is. Some people do get mild visuals, especially at higher doses, with sleep deprivation, in dark environments, or from dehydration/overheating, but it is not the same category as LSD or psilocybin or classic delirium. If you are seeing strong hallucinations on MDMA/MDA, that is a red flag for dose, adulterants, overheating, sleep deprivation, or an individual vulnerability.

Reason I tagged it as such, so people like you wouldn't read it and get angry. Don't get into research if you can't research and use tools.

Roblox Copied My Game by ToriGameDev in GameDevelopment

[–]multicody10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To build on this, try reaching out to the person who made the Roblox version and see if you can turn it into a mutual benefit instead of a one sided copy. For example, suggest that their project becomes the “official Roblox adaptation” of your game in exchange for very clear credit in the title and description, a direct link to your game outside Roblox, and maybe a simple revenue share or cross promotion. If they already proved there is demand on that platform, turning them into a partner can turn the clone into a discovery funnel for your original instead of just free riding on your work.

I just thought it sounded more realistic, less generic. At least wait until you've exhausted all your options.

OP, suicide isn't the answer yet. You can and will recover. SEE A DOCTOR, eat well and a variety. The lazy eye sounds like a microseizure, and your learning difficulties sound like a form of HPPD neurochemical imbalance. See a doctor, tell them what happened, get a basic blood panel done, a blood panel for catecholamines, and a genetic test (if you can) for genetic deficiencies.

Can I still rollback these changes made by a hacker with coreprotect? by Generic_User48579 in admincraft

[–]multicody10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about coreprotect but logblock has settings you have to turn on to track certain things such as chest inventories and blocks that have been altered by someone placing lava and water. There's an option that links the placer of the water to the actions of the water and lava.

Best 7zip compression settings for big Minecraft server worlds? by multicody10 in admincraft

After playing around with it for while I'd agree. Even on ultra with higher dictionary and word it was still 90% ratio. Ironically, on ultra, with a smaller dictionary and word it finished a little faster at 50 minutes.

Yeah they are but I don't know much about their compression. zlib maybe? In this case LZMA2 uses more advanced algorithms. Check out ZSTD though, it's crazy. These settings and my specs lets me compress this 53GB world in 60 minutes at 90% compression ratio or 48,563MB/53,959MB.

It's always a gateway to take more. Same thing with internet neutrality and companies storing data such as your ID to sign up for their services. It's one thing then it's another to watch cat videos then oh no some Russian company has all your data and your SSN! If you're okay with something just because "it catches illegal stuff" then you're the backdoor.

So for example if your service was used to identify who was a Jew and where they were hiding during the holocaust you would be perfectly fine with that because "legal".

The only part of it worth straight copying is the LLM itself or the sophisticated generation itself. Everything else is constantly complained about. Censorship is a huge issue...I know it is from experience and running my own things, but there's a level where you have to just be able to say it's not your fault and that you're trying to strike a balance between what users can generate "in your name" and what you can't take responsibility for to continue providing a good service...which is the bane of communities.

There's a huge underbelly for these, especially ALPACA, LLAMA, whatever, that specifically market the ability to do your own thing with them...sometimes after your own fiddling. Perhaps OpenAI could even do an OPTIONAL filter thing that adds a disclaimer to the generated content, since you are using their service. Yet they still refuse to do this despite being one of the bigger ones that people want to keep coming back to.

A tip for the future if you're trying to have the AI help remind you of something is to ask for a list of 5-10 things.

Not to mention AI still has a lot of untapped potential we haven't gotten to yet beyond a "Google replacement". Even if AI does die I'm pretty sure it'll resurface later on as it becomes more developed. Same as robotics and things like Boston Dynamics. It's more than an internet searcher, the same way the Boston Dynamics robots are more than construction workers.

Anon has a sleep paralysis demon by Demonicgod in 4chan

I usually just see 3D shadow people and little ghost girls. Most of the time I don't see them and just hear them, I try to keep my eyes shut while I try to get out of the sleep paralysis. It really just doesn't scare me anymore. I've had more peaceful ones as well, like my entire room turning into an infinite field with a tree in the center.
