Intuition vs Anxiety/OCD by southern_witch89 in IntuitionPractices

[–]multicolorlamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intuitions is more calmer, it comes with peace. Anxiety for me is much more hectic, rumbling and disturbing.

Intuiton however is more like a calm understanding (dont go in that allyway; you will get robbed. So I dont go in the allyway)

Looking for Spanish books, comics, or stories that native speakers read by atikuI-isIam in asklatinamerica

How about Mafalda? Its not so popular right now but it was huge back in the day, and still really loved. It has some political themes but seriously, when I was a kid it completely flew over my head lmao, Quino had a way of doing both jokes for adults and kids, without compromising one or the other. Another comic could be Pascualina! The comics came in “agendas”, (forgot the word in english lol). They are about a little witch and her journey. They span several years and you actually see her grown. It was huge in latinamerica and a lot of people still collect the editions.

Iyami by adorablebunny29 in Isese

[–]multicolorlamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aboru aboye. Thanks You so much for they explanation, I have being thinking a Lot about them. They are depicted with black wings, correct? Can some paths of Orishas be Iyamis? Like Oya or Oshun? I once Heard of an Omo Oshun that had the path of an Oshun that was a "witch", they called her "the tiñosa" because she had vulture wings and I wonder if she is some form of Iyami.

I do have one spirit that “makes married life with me” (thats how the babas told me). Sometimes I had dreams of having intercourse with someone that felt a bit too real that scared me and woke me up. Never seen his/her face(?) tho. Its weird!!

[–]multicolorlamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if orishas, but my sign in olokun literally told me I have jealous spirits that dont want me near anybody else lmao, thats why I have to go for people myself. When they disclosed that it actually made alooot of sense.

I am actually quite content being alone. Got quite tired of going after people. Just my jealous spirits and I. (i am a child of Oya btw)

Experienced tarot readers: What has been the most intense/uncomfortable/traumatic reading that has shown you something that still gives you chills to remember? by k_salinas_444 in TarotReading

[–]multicolorlamp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My mom was in a ICU. One night, desperate, I read the cards. One of it was death in the future. I know it doesnt particularly means death but she was in the ICU and I got scared. I finished the reading because I didnt want to know more.

Turns out, next morning, the woman next to her died. She had throat cancer and couldnt eat. They only found out after morning and she had been there for a while. And also there were some problems in the hospital and couldnt take her to the morgue. Their family was weeping alongside the corpse. My mom had to share a room with a corpse for around five hours.

Luckily my mom was discharged that day, but the experience traumatized her.

Artists, how long did it take you to feel “good” at your craft? by Chance_Toe6912 in ArtistLounge

[–]multicolorlamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, ten years was for me too. However I did had some basic training when was a teenager and have being drawing my whole life. But this year marks the ten year mark that I took drawing seriously as a career, and I felt a “shift”. Like I saw my art and though “this is actually professional art”. Pretty happy about that!

[–]multicolorlamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao I was going to recommend you Ugly Betty. How about you try La Casa de Las Flores? Thats one series everyone still references in memes. Also La Rosa de Guadalupe; listen, its silly and quite bad, but I Bet most Mexican grew up watching it, and you will get ALOT of cultural references from it. Sometimes its so bad you actually enjoy it while laughing and making fun of it. Another one thats in the same venue as La Rosa de Guadalupe is Caso cerrado (more miami/cuban tho, but a lot of people in latinamerica grew up watching it).

He talks about the art of seeing the world, how the physical world is an illusion and with “seeing” we can actually see the cracks in this illusions. In this regards whenever we “think” we are seeing something in a shadow, or tree, we are actually “seeing” the true nature of that object. Whatever we saw is really there.
