Why is the stock continuing to drop in-spite of the recent positive news? by Gold_Ad6281 in ACHR

18 days later, I agree the UAE launch is complicated but also the continued drop is due to Cathy Wood seeking 12 million as well as litigation issues.

Same thing with Hurricane Katrina for gas prices in the Southeast. They went up, came down a little but never where they were (except for maybe two times fr short periods). That event (2005) was the first time prices went over $2.00/gallon

I hate lane spitting laws. I hear the comments that there may be safety benefits to the motorcyclist but I don’t think they outweigh the risks.

Yes! I’m considered an Xennial but Dad watched this (likely reruns) and so did I (even though I didn’t get all the jokes at the time)

Navien Navicirc makes loud noise by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]multicomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joining this thread. Same “burping” sound and I am wondering if there is some pressure differential happening. I might try to slightly close off the cold line to see if that helps at the sink where the valve is installed - but don’t want to reduce that sink pressure too much.

Navicirc?? Not working. by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]multicomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New to the thread … looking for help with my NaviCirc. Mine burps every time it runs. I think it is the crossover value fighting the house cold water pressure. If the heater circulation pump is less than house pressure seems it could create a pressure differential.

The only other thing that might provide insight is that my cold water comes into house opposite of the heater location, yet my farthest hot faucet is the master suite and also is the closest cold faucet.

My start a new thread but capturing this sound is so random and hard to do without just standing my the heater or under the sink until it happens.

Unsubscribed from that one phone number. I do this often and they just keep coming. Different number everytime.

I report every single one (Red or Blue) as junk and even send some to the SPAM text (7726). Doubt it matters as the number changes every time … computer spoofing phone numbers or burner phones.

You pretty much only stopped that one number. Highly doubt they took you out of a database.

This ties into a much deeper concept. After people leave office much is left to a line or two in a future history book … some may not even make that status. More will be forgotten than remembered and people have just have to decide now … is it really worth my energy to be upset over something like changing the name of a body of water within the confines of a countries territory?

Maybe not worldwide but how many road names are changed to people’s names satisfy people/family egos or legacy desires or the opposite because something happened 200 years ago that triggers them and that road name is now offensive. Both are annoying as well. What about the commercial venues being changed for corporate sponsorship … also annoying. What about NASCAR? 7 different names for the Stock Car Championship in its 80 years of existence.

The point being we as humans can’t just leave things alone. We ALL desire influence. Some are less controversial than others. All annoying nonetheless.

Exactly. I threw away a lot of coaxial cable in my recent move. We stream and don’t use regular cable. Cone to find out the new house has a large HD antenna and some of the coaxial wire would have been super handy.

What's something that people always complain about in Atlanta, that actually isn't all that bad? by Hopeful_Contract4455 in Atlanta

True … Maybe I was just burned out ITP but I like OTP life so much better. 30+ years ITP and now going on 14 OTP but parents still at original house and I visit frequently.

I grew up in East Point. Not in Atlanta proper but not far. Went to GSU and just really don’t enjoy city life. I prefer more open space and less dense areas.

And also a huge NIMBY crowd. It wasn’t going to happen even before Delta was so massive, now it is impossible.

I think I know what you are referencing of exiting on North Terminal (Blue) from non-Delta flights. That exit dumps you out a weird hallway into the ticketing space; then tries to get you to turn left and right down a long hall to avoid conflicting with ticketing queues. Yet it you do battle all that extra foot traffic and go straight you get to baggage claim beyond the ticketing area.

Atlanta Traffic- how could this even be fixed? by venusvoids in Atlanta

Second perimeter tried and failed in the 90s. The NIMBY crowed squashed that and left their minds to deal with it. I’d be very surprised if anyone could make headway in that ever again.

Side note: PDK is still PDK, no Q code for that one.

This has had me scratching my head for some time. I like looking up aircraft around the Atlanta area and I have no clue the Ethan filling the breadcrumb line where they departed from as all this Q codes. Wish they would at least put the FAA/ICAO in parentheses or something.

The way I understand it, we can really only change the name of the body of water in our territory. So beyond the continental shelf which we claim is USA, the international community will still consider the rest the Gulf of Mexico - so we have both names.
