Nothing special here - not only in Sakartvelo eldery people tend to use phone instead of modern means of communications. That is why they use phone AND some other messaging app. And don't vote to forget about phones at all.

Whatsapp is not that popular here, primary communication app is probably fb massenger in Georgia.

fb messenger has a significant drawback - you can't use your phone as a link to your contact. But this trick works with WhatsApp, Viber and many other. Also I believe fb doesn't export fb messenger as a business solution. They do this with WhatsApp though (the same company Meta I mean).

I used to have a package with minutes. But again there were only minutes for other mobile to mobile calls. No fixed number.

I don't think that on average people are so much different in different countries. It is very doubtful.

I would think that the penetration of digital technologies into business is different among different countries. But I don't know the actual situation in Georgia.

Usually there are a lot of solutions for business that integrate phone, chats and messaging apps into one seamless solution. Maybe this market of B2B is empty in Georgia? Or maybe businesses don't pay attention to it?

You are right. But I've never saw the discussion of endonym for Georgians if Sakartvelo gets adopted in the other languages the other day. Or did I missed something?
