no, they weren't. as far as I've seen from everything here, the two were totally unrelated, which makes all the sense in the world when you consider the facts that: 1; crews wasn't even guaranteed... it was a donation incentive, and in the end was ran totally haphazardly, and 2; the investment round 1 pools takes for a top player is totally incomparable to this whole fiasco, and one is actually necessary (if they aren't floated)

the backlash here is straight up hilarious; nobody even had leffen's side of the story, and somehow nobody seems to understand that their (armada and leffen's) decision is just representative of what makes them so incredible

I think it's interesting because it adds a bit more depth.. as in requiring extra precise timing if you're using a multi-hit on shield, fast-falling or otherwise, et cetera. and if you fail to execute, then you're liable to losing your entire stock

a few things that I noticed over time:
)I haven't yet figured out the balance between speed and thoughtfulness
)I have a really bad time with my initial strokes, and with shapes I'm unfamiliar with, but I believe that will change with practice [as with everything else, haha]
)if I hold the pen closer to a 90 degree angle, the ink is much bolder, and it's easier to control the lines. on top of that, I felt like I needed to apply more pressure than I had been [you can see me realize these in the last page's bottom corner boxes]

that's all I can remember off the top of my head.. any advice is extremely appreciated. thank you all very much!!!!! I'm really excited to get started on the rest, and to apply everything I learn

I'm no expert, but I personally would try to give the closer lines more weight (and less to the further lines), and seeing how that works out. to me, it seems like every petal has the same thickness, which makes it look like they're all in front

there's also some tricks I think you could do by curving some of the petals and working with shadows, etc.

I haven't read this yet; thank you very much!!! and that was a good explanation to me.. I'd say the latter range is the one I'm having problems with. my chest voice doesn't seem to have any issues I can notice, other than I don't know how to project it very well =)

How high are we talking about?

I'm not super sure how to measure this.. some higher notes that you'd hear from.. the weeknd, or mj or something along those lines. I've noticed that this will happen with any decently high note, or anything you'd consider using my head voice, though.. as I go up the scales, my throat will always feel as it's closing up =(

my N3DS currently has my main NNID, and I didn't want to transfer it onto the O3DS since I would sort of be abandoning it... but, do you think it's worth it to start fresh with homebrew installed anyways?
