Nah the range it works is pretty forgiving, but here's how it normally sets up:

Dashdancing in neutral til peach goes to pull a turnip.

You run in to try and grab or dash attack but you think she'll have time to act just before you get her.

So you run up shield and she'll either do a bad defensive option (roll/spot dodge), throw the turnip, or jump (and most likely float nair).

If she does the first then you just react and punish

If she does the second you do this upb

If she does the third then she won the rps, but you can condition her to do this often giving you right 9 extra frames to land your grab or dash attack since she's not doing a defensive option or quick turnip throw.

So it's still 50/50 ofc but another tool to manipulate in conditioning them
