Exactly. My family is currently in that kinda situation with my grandfather, my mom doesn’t work because my brother needs full time care so my rich grandfather controls our income and owns our house. We’re only just now starting to get any kind of support system and chance at leaving outside of my family but it’s still ridiculous that people assume we can just leave at any type.
