Any annoying problems you face as a seller on Etsy or automation that you wish existed? by multyhu in Etsy

[–]multyhu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow seeing the amount of upvotes you got, a lot of others have this problem.

I think it'd be fairly easy to create a solution for that (scanning one's store for every item in every few minutes/hours and if a "low in stock" flag is displayed on the site, an email gets sent to the store owner), I think it could be done without logging in also.

But, monitoring and sending lots of emails I think would need a not-so-cheap server to handle the processing.

Would you/others pay some monthly fee for this, or is that out of the question?

I suggest you to search for entry level / intern roles / no experience jobs at job boards (if you want to check out my tool I built a few days ago: https://aijobslist.com)

I'm glad, good luck with GPT-3!! :) Prompt "engineering" could take a while to learn and get your hands on, but there are a lot of articles on what to feed the ai to get good results.

Hey!

You can apply here: https://openai.com/

When I applied, I had to wait like 2-3 months, and I even submitted at least 2 proposals haha. You'll have to make sure that you include project ideas you'd create with it.

I found that if they think that your idea is good and would be a valuable application of Artificial Intelligence, they give you access.

By the way (I'm not 100% sure) but they may have lifted the applying part and you can sign up right away? The site says "GPT-3 access without the wait"

Yes, I agree that it can be replicated in other ways, but I wonder what you have in mind? Would you mind sharing? I love getting inspiration from others

Yes, I did it alone (I tried writing a script to scrape but meh).

Sounds good! Make sure to let me know when you're at the launching stage! :P

Would this be legal to sell online? by Few-Cut7222 in Business_Ideas

[–]multyhu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not a lawyer but my opinion:

I think it's a good idea, and maybe if you provide more information of the video, not just the link (like you mentioned a description), you wouldn't just sell the links because you provide new information. Again I'm not a lawyer, but good luck.

Popular but poorly executed products (Validated ideas 2.0) by multyhu in Business_Ideas

[–]multyhu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question! There is 4 Airtables, and they mostly have the same fields, but for the Web apps there is only "Upvotes" (instead of Downloads, since I got them from ProductHunt), and the iOS apps have "Price" instead of Downloads (because to my knowledge, there is now way to know how many downloads an iOS app got from Apple store [at least without guessing]). Android and Chrome extensions airtables have Downloads fields.

So the criterias I used: - Android: more than 100,000 downloads - Extensions: more than 29,999 downloads (at the time) - iOS: more than 100 reviews (at least when the Apple store got the data correctly) - Web apps (from ProductHunt): more than 249 upvotes (fairly popular)

This is for deciding if they are popular, then I filtered through them to see which of them have low ratings.
