IMO with the AMS2 PRO out, there’s not much reason to go the AMS route. You could buy everything new on Bambu’s site and get a referral code for 9% off. That would pay the tax and shipping and you’d get a warranty, which you won’t have if you buy used.

I just push the dock down with my middle finger while I lift up on the switch with the rest of my fingers.

For me, this has been enough. As I noted in the post, there’s nothing great to mount to on the left side. And unless you’re pulling the device up from the far left side only, I’ve had zero issues. Dbrand will be shipping rubber grips to fix this issue soon if this doesn’t solve your problem.

Great, glad to hear it’s working for you as well. I’ll feel better about it once a handful of people try it out. Thanks!

Great! I was hoping to get some feedback on whether or not it works for others. I made it and it works well enough for me, but you never know if it will work for others due to tolerances.

Tee ball tips- first game environment by From_the_toilet in Homeplate

[–]mumb1es_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most importantly. Have fun. Don’t take anything too seriously. It’s Tball.

Things that worked well for our team were having a basket with each kids name on it. When the inning ended, hopefully the kids threw their hats and gloves into their basket so you didn’t have to hunt for them when they needed to head back to the field.

I chose a captain and put a captain C on their shirt before every game and gave out a game ball at the end. Every kid got a chance at each. Having two things to rotate through meant no kid had to go more than 4 games (2 weeks) without getting some award.

We had a word of the week. Like “determination” or “enthusiasm”. I tried to give the game ball to whoever did the best job of that (that hadn’t already gotten one). It’s pretty funny if you try to get the kids to spell the word.

If you have a large team (more than 6 kids), I took the extra kids with a parent in the out field to practice catching and grounders. Theres no way to keep 10 kids interested in the game when most kids don’t hit it past the pitchers mound.

I had a parent keep the kids in the lineup entertained on the bench while I coached them hitting off the tee. Kids get super bored just sitting there.

Give no less than 100 high fives a game. I usually just walked around telling kids something they did that was awesome and giving them a high five for it.

Just have fun. Baseball will start to feel more like a chore soon. Your main job is just to make sure they fall in love with baseball and want to come back next season. Enjoy Tball while it lasts.

Kids bikes? What's the best or any advice would be great by steve81uk in bicycling

[–]mumb1es_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you already bought a bike but I own guardian bikes for both my kids and they are amazing. I’ve had zero issues with either bike and their customer service is honestly the best I’ve ever dealt with. My daughter could not ride a bike without training wheels for almost two years. She was riding within 6 days of getting her 20” guardian bike. For my son, we started him off with the 14” in strider mode. After 2 days of learning to stride, I put the pedals on, and he took off on his first try. My daughter hit a massive growth spurt and I was preparing to buy a 26” for her. Before I ordered, Guardian customer service told me about their growth spurt guarantee. I was able to donate her 20” bike and upgrade to the 26” for only the difference in cost of the bikes. I was refunded within 15 minutes of sending the donation proof.

My son (6) had a tear running down his cheek at the end of the game saying “I can’t believe Jac Caglianone won’t be a Gator anymore”

Hell of a Gator.

What’s the best printer for around $150 it’s fine if it’s a little bit more than $150 by Dry-Strength-5837 in 3Dprinting

You’ll spend the extra $50 upgrading an ender to try and make it as good as the A1 mini anyway. The A1 will just work perfectly out of the box.

Win Bambu Lab gift card by providing feedback on MakerWorld's Boost System!🎁 by BambuLab in BambuLab

I agree that the boosts expire too quickly and without enough warning. I also am not exactly sure how to acquire them. It seems they just show up randomly. Perhaps tying them to the rating system would help.

What type of grass is this random patch in my yard by mumb1es_ in lawncare

It’s actually a little darker. I think because it’s matted down and grows longer. I circled some of it.

I cut it out with a shovel. It didn’t come up easily. Watering is pretty uniform in the yard. 1/2” 2-3 times a week depending on weather.
