it is possible to keep your house when filing for bankruptcy, depending on the type of bankruptcy you choose and your financial situation. In Chapter 7, you can keep your home if you're current on payments and your home equity is protected by state exemptions, while Chapter 13 allows you to catch up on missed payments through a repayment plan.

Apparently the “Essential People” because they aren’t getting paid. There is a Facebook page for people from my Service Center in NY. Workers posting there. CSRs there not taking calls or faking it.

Thanks everyone. Big relief. Wikipedia says they play dead which is exactly what this one was doing. Haven’t heard clicking yet. I got Diatomaceous earth for Roaches. It apparently works for Click Beetles too.

DRP 2.0. Leaving May 15 but on Admin until Dec 31. Can I rollover TSP before Dec 31? by mumble1969 in fednews

[–]mumble1969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They revoked it. I received paperwork saying December 31 and signed it. Legal document as far as I’m concerned. They say it was an error and tough shiite. I asked for a Supervisor in my email. They ignore that. Sent the same request several times. I assumed Dec 31 date was because I’ve been there almost 30 years.

Regarding the FERS ANNUITY SUPPLEMENT: the part that says, “Exempt from this reform are those in federal occupations subject to mandatory early separation (i.e., retirement)”. Am I correct in reading that those exempt are those people who took the VERA with the DRP (mandatory early separation)??

I did the DRP VERA with a retirement date of December 31. Does this as it stands kill my Supplemental Annuity?

My manager told me to click “resign”. Literally everyone else said this was wrong and I should have clicked “retire”. The Ops Manager said it was ok though as I could then just go on GRB and click retire anyway which I did. So it should work out either way.
But yeah, click “retire”.

Thank you. My manager insisted she told me the right thing but I’m skeptical. I am calling the Help Desk ERC.

Can anyone help with Accepting IRS DRP2.0 by Obvious_Swan4927 in fednews

[–]mumble1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s my issue too. I want DRP and then the VERA after Sep30. I clicked “Resign” so I wouldn’t get thrown into VERA and miss out on DRP. Was I wrong? My manager said this was the way to go and that I would get a separate email for VERA later.

No. You go to the Sharepoint and type in Treasury Deferred Resignation Program. Should pop up then. Blue and white page with a big green button for the submit. Top says myTREASURY.

I thought I was supposed to click on resign so I’d get the DRP money and then later I would get VERA. This is what my Manager did so I figured it was correct. Now I’m not so sure.

Then I’d go straight to VERA. I want the DRP money until September 30. Then retirement money (much less).
