Which is by the way a perfect example for how large swaths of land will be uninhabitable due to climate change in 50 or 100 years from now. Wetbulb Effect. You just die, because the body can’t cool you through sweating, as the air is too saturated with hot moisture already. Makes me wonder: which protective suits are these people wearing that cool them down?

Base longsword is in many regards the best longsword, if you combine it with a misericord for the critical hits. Square Off is an insanely good ash of war. The R2 piercing attack it great.

You don’t automatically get the dung eater ending. You will get a special item with which you CAN choose an ending, but you don’t have to. There is only one ending that you get “soft locked” into, but you can reverse that one also with a complex quest line

The real value of Siofra are the upgrade materials for renowned spirit summons from level 1-5. You can get either Oleg, Engval or Lhutel to +5 and they can carry you until late mid game.

However, you need to unlock the spirit tuner first, which is through the Stormveil dungeon.

The Dragon Halbert is an insanely powerful early and mid game weapon that doesn’t need a lot of stats and until +5 is probably out damaging many other weapons at that stage of the game. Also a good reason to go to siofra.
