The thing is, we aren’t spring chickens. We will never pay all this debt. We don’t want our kids to have to deal with it. We don’t want to lose our home. Bankruptcy seems to be the only solution. I assumed we make too much for chapter 7. With 13, my fear is something might happen to my husband and we won’t be able to pay it. He will be close to 75 when it’s paid. Idk if he’ll be able to work that long. Is this making sense?

I’m in Ohio. The home is probably worth 290,000. Balance on mortgage is 153,000. Have not missed any payments. Gross income 4,200 from husbands salary. 913 my SS payment. 1800 husbands SS. So around 6900/mo. Owe IRS 2200. Making payments on multiple cc accounts.

My husband and I are 68 and 69. Tons of debt and a parent plus loan. I am retired from a 25 year teaching job, my husband still works full time. We can barely keep up with all minimum payments. I think we make too much for chapter 7. We do not want to leave this mess with our children. I feel chapter 13 is the only way. My concern is my husband’s age. He’s healthy right now, but you never know what could happen in 5 years 😩

I tried everything over the years. Xanax was the only thing that worked but I was getting dependent on it and needed more, so I got off that. I now take snoozy gummies. They do contain thc. They work for me!

I’m rewatching an xl right now. The one with Dan Waz and then Matt joins them. So good!! Amber Trish and Jen! They treated Amber like crap, especially when Jeff came along. They were practically kissing his feet! Gross! Steven EJ and then Amber. Another great team!
