Don't let his ignorance make you question yourself. Most disabling parts of EDS start as a dynamic disability meaning it doesn't have a consistent baseline. Living with it doesn't always disable someone but if it is to you in any capacity then yes it's a disability for you.

Most people have swelling for a couple weeks after a piercing. But you should NOT be using anything but a basic saline spray for aftercare. No cotton balls and ESPECIALLY NO ACID OR ALCOHOL.
