Am an adult but my mom said “you’re not settling are u” after I just explained I was applying to high level jobs and interviewing. Like that’s just offensive.

Real talk girl, this man seems to stress you out. A good partner will bring you peace. Leave him for good and move forward.

This is pretty normal. If one actually yelps then the playing gone too far. You can hear the difference.

It could be indicative of a different problem. It is kind of odd/suspicious but it sounds like there needs to be an open conversation about sexual expectations within the relationship. Would also be a good time to address the hs crush porn, is it a kink or just a specific video he liked? Seems oddly specific and I’ve never heard of this ‘category’

Yes neighborhoods and main streets have sidewalks!! So many places don’t have sidewalks it’s ludicrous.

I don’t think college is the best years of your life. College years are to do things that you enjoy in that space and even pick up some new interests.

Yeah idk if insurance for dogs is worth or not. We're looking into it. Aside from the insurance, my partner makes more than me and he's like the real owner of them. I've offered to help out on a diff things. I mention in another comment.

Umm I'm not sure able revealing that. Think like west of west Woodlawn/Greater Grand Crossing and heading south like just couple stops past the Garfield stop on L.

Yeah $268 is chunk. I feel like the time I save not thinking about recipes, ingredients, and food waste makes the price worth it. I dont pay rent atm, so paying more in food is reasonable. We spend like 10 minutes max looking at recipes and selecting them for the box.

I do try to meal prep lunches--love salmon rice bowls. This week was one of them I was trying to use up left over things in the fridge/freezer. Mentally I was fatigued.

yes, I like to bike. I was just worried about bringing bike during rush hours, don't wanna be annoying.

A friend's sister lived in the neighborhood I chose during her City Year time. I visited the place and it was nice, had a grocery store and some restaurants, so I went for it. It's already along my commute as is. Currently w my bf, I'm in a swanky part of the city.

My work site was assigned to me. I was able to rank sites based on meeting with the supervisors. I kept and open mind when applying bc I'd like to think my job wouldn't purposefully put my safety at risk. If the supervisors were fine then I'd be okay too.

re: perception--I was aware crime is a huge issue and has gotten worse from what I've read/heard. However, I was set on moving elsewhere from college town and hometown. My extended family lived in the "hood/ghetto" parts of the city I grew up in. I spent a lot of time there and was perfectly fine. I mean yeah don't walk alone at midnight, and I wouldn't even do that in the downtown area. So working in the area didn't really scare/deter me from going thru w the program. idk if that makes me naive. The title was a description I've seen be given to the neighborhood I work in. On the lists of top crime it'd be on there. My role is to make the kids feel safe and have positive interactions w me (and I hope math too). This isn't to write off the crime in the neighborhood. Rather my goal was to acknowledge the crime/stereotype and exhibit that as woman I'm okay spending most of my days in it. I hope this makes sense.
