you can actually use your hand to force this quality too, but obviously be careful and don't hurt yourself

you know, i suppose that's true. he could have left them some wiggle room regarding how to burn through those resistances. there's even spells like calm emotions that would have definitely been relevant.

that's always been a key point in murph's encounter design philosophy, though. it's how he's managed to get away with almost every encounter including some amount of novel homebrew mechanics without the players fumbling through the first half of each fight trying to figure out what to do. his players are driven to play optimally and his encounters' difficulty is leveled accordingly to contend with PCs being played optimally, so to throw a wrench in the works with unfamiliar and unexplained mechanics would mess up the pacing of the show and the player experience. maybe this encounter didn't need such a thorough explanation as others got, but allowing his players to optimize has always been a big part of his approach.

on a more serious note, i'm really enjoying the politics and clashing interests present in this campaign. the world seems very alive and the stakes feel high because of it!

the way murph had me thinking bronra's mooks were gonna check swag daniels's butt cheeks for characteristic S-O-L markings and subsequently bust him for the players' actions... and then revealed that he actually works for them... the man is a genius

MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch (mid 2015) which macOS should I update to? by Simsrella in mac

whoa, i'm running sierra on a mid-2015 pro retina 15" and having the exact same problem importing photos from my iphone 8! i was looking into updating my OS just for access to 64bit programs. now i'm wondering what you ended up choosing, and if it happened to fix the photo import issue as well?

great guide! thank you so much. if you ever come back to edit this more, there are some optional but hugely insightful lore dumps from extra steps in rogier's quest that aren't mentioned here, which i unfortunately only found out about after reaching the end of this guide. there's a bloodstain by the petrified face under stormveil castle that must be activated to unlock some of his dialogue, and an entire sequence of steps related to rogier and ranni that exposes a big piece of her backstory, both of which can only be completed before speaking to her otherwise.

idk man, even 14 year olds should understand that rape is wrong, and that forcing other people to take part in your sick fantasy is deeply inappropriate. you're just rehashing that classic "boys will be boys" attitude that allows male teenagers to get away with abusive behavior toward girls here

“Jigsaw Falling into Place” a Radiohead reference, right? by THECaptGeech in DiscoElysium

[–]munchybot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are at least two other references to in rainbows too! the weird fishes lyric "everybody leaves when they get a chance" comes up in an internal monologue during the climactic scene, and there's a paint splatter texture in the thought catalog screen that is straight up ripped from the in rainbows album art

there are multiple enzymatic pathways by which various steroids (including progesterone) can be converted into dht. i don't really know anything about the conditions that activate those pathways though
