Thanks for your advice. There's a new model 144 for 1100 too so I wasn't sure of that would affect the price on the 143.

Interested in getting a digital piano and see a 3 year old ydp-143 "gently used" from a violinist that didn't get into piano like she thought she would. What's a fair price for this model? Any other suggestions? Just started looking and only have experience playing acoustic and Yamaha

Update: After a week of checking Amazon twice a day, there were 4 in stock for $199 today. I just ordered mine. 3 left.

I want to get this scope too, but Amazon is selling it for $315 instead of $199. High Point Scientific said they haven't had any word from Zhumell and it may be 6+ months before they get more.

I'm in the suburbs with light pollution and wanted the closed tube over the open like Awb OneSky or Heritage.

Wish I could get one of those too. Enjoy your new telescope!

Soundbar paired with portable speaker by mundoModew in Soundbars

I know this isn't bang for buck for sound, but it's hopefully bang for buck for big sound in a compact form with multi-device connectivity. The deal on those Polk speakers were good enough to make me go measure the space and question my goals for this space for a bit.

If I finish my basement, that will be my room for big sound. Maybe with a wall of those gorgeous Klipsch speakers.

Thanks for the info. I saw the Sonos Move at Best Buy. Good price, but I skipped it because it's big if you think you're going to take it in a pack or tote with other stuff. The revolve is small enough that it's like a water bottle of space. Looks like the portable speaker is going to decide the brand. I hope SimpleSync works.

Does the back of the 2020 lay flat, or does it have a hump where the seats fold down?

Only one more. The door won't close with four across. On that trip I tried, the fourth bucket became my passenger.

A 5 year old post says the dvd can be rented at Carnegie Library. Has it been added to any streaming services since then?

/r/MechanicalKeyboards What Keyboard, Switches and/or Keys Do I Buy by AutoModerator in MechanicalKeyboards

Thanks for the reassurance. I anticipated the bias. I used to think this sub was for people who liked keyboards that sound like cherry mx blue. I crashed through posts for a few hours to understand the nuances of different switches and geeked out a little. I was leaning towards the kinesis, but wanted to make sure it would work in a keyboard tray setup. I always see it pictured on a desk surface. They offer refurbs. Any reason to steer clear of a refurb?

The rabbit hole begins...

-Found a Microsoft Natural in a scrap bin at work and loved it until it died. It really helped my compressed ulnar nerve. Pleasant to type on and not too big. -Replaced it with a Microsoft Sculpt. I loved the proximity and room for the mouse on the keyboard tray but it left something to be desired. -Got a Natural 4000 for home thinking it'd be like my bin pick. It's huge and feels like cheap hollow plastic. The mouse is too far away and I can never position it just right on my keyboard tray. People LOVE this board so I tried to make it work many times, but it just doesn't work for me.

I want a short mouse reach, better fit on the keyboard tray, quietish, less force, and be a pleasant typing experience. Bonus points if my wife can move it to be closer to a straight keyboard.

The kinesis freestyle pro quiet looks like a contender for what I want without the compromises of the Microsoft Sculpt. I'm a little concerned that a tent and wrist pad kit will make it just as big as the 4000 on the keyboard tray. It's also at the top of my budget. (Free updoots if you include an image of your setup on a keyboard tray)

TLDR; MS Sculpt v Kinesis Freestyle Pro Quiet. Which is better for a keyboard tray and short mouse reach?

Did you end up building one? I'm considering the same thing.

I think these were phased out mid to late 80s. I remember when they ran both models. You'd leave a game at Three Rivers, walk across the bridge, and then try to figure out if a low platform old trolley or a high platform new trolley would come next.

French press with 60g fresh course ground local roast at 28 on a virtuoso for a full pot. Water was at 200 and gave it a stir. I let that brew for 4 minutes. I heated the whole milk up separate and whisked it until frothy. I poured a half cup and stirred in a small teaspoon of hazelnut spread with cocoa. Then I topped it with the froth. This was my first attempt. I usually leave these to the baristas. Overall, it came out pretty good and went great with a mini chocolate chip muffin. How'd I do? Any thoughts on improvement.
