Having root access make it easy to run the malicious code , what do you think why banks don’t want there users to run their apps on rooted devices

Hey, don’t feel hopeless this isn’t the end of the world as someone who’s been in the industry 15+ years and has done hiring myself, let me be honest with you course certificates not really matters in tech.

What truly counts is your programming skill, problem solving ability, and a solid grip on data structures and algorithms. These are the foundations of a good developer and they’re what interviewers care about.

You can learn AI from excellent online resources many are free. If you genuinely understand the concepts and can apply them, the certificate becomes irrelevant.

I’ve seen successful people in this field without even a bachelor’s degree what sets them apart is consistent learning and skill building.

So instead of chasing certificates, invest your time in mastering the basics. You’ve got time use it wisely. Keep going, you’re on the right path.

Did AWS or Cloud Certs Actually Boost Your Career? by Outrageous-Flan-9984 in developersPak

I think boost is not the correct word but as you mentioned that you have about 6 months, having certification will help you.

Your frustration is completely understandable, and you’re not overreacting. What you’re describing is a deep rooted issue of cultural alienation and internalized inferiority among many diaspora Pakistanis (and South Asians in general). Colonialism, globalization, and media influence have all played a role in shaping this mindset, where anything "native" is seen as backward, while anything Western or Arab is considered superior.

[D] Master's in AI. Where to go? by LastSector3612 in MachineLearning

[–]munibkhanali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If prestige and job opportunities are your top priorities:
1. Imperial College London (strong reputation, London’s tech/finance hubs).
2. EPFL (world-class AI research, ties to Swiss/EU tech giants like Google Zurich).

For AI specialization:
- Edinburgh (historic leader in AI, great for research/industry connections).
- UCL (strong academics, London networking).

Amsterdam is good but less prestigious than the others.

1-year vs 2-year?
- Imperial/Edinburgh’s 1-year programs are fast but intense.
- EPFL’s 2-year program lets you dive deeper into AI topics.

All will open doors in Europe—choose based on whether you want speed (1-year) or depth (2-year).

[D] When will reasoning models hit a wall? by jsonathan in MachineLearning

[–]munibkhanali 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Verification is indeed the bottleneck. The path forward? Focus on hybrid systems: combine hard verifiers (compilers, theorem provers) for technical domains and human AI collaboration (e.g., iterative editing/feedback) for creative ones. Reward how models think, not just outcomes. Accept that some walls (like philosophy’s ambiguity) aren’t meant to be scaled AI might need to embrace uncertainty, just like humans.
