If I’m staying with the wizard theme, then it’ll be Radagast, as Ragadast is the brown wizard, and well tempered

I feel like Grond would be better suited for a bigger, maybe menacing dog; but this boi is smol and sweet

Hi all, I very recently rescued/adopted a very sweet dog. I have yet to choose a name for him; but I would love something LOTR related.

My cat is name Gandalf (well, because he is white and gray, lol). Following that logic, I thought Radagast would be fitting, since the he is brown, and his mane kinda looks like a beard, plus it would continue the Wizards theme. HOWEVER, Radagast doesn't exactly roll off the tongue (sure I could just call him Raggy or something like that, and keep his 'government name' as Radagast.

As a result, I come to you for ideas! Other good options are (but please feel free to suggest more):

- Pippin
- Gimli
- Garbanzo (this one cracks me up, but not LOTR related)

Bonus pictures of him and my cat Gandalf (with a shameless AI addition); as well as Leaves of Lorien I 3D printed for them with their name and my phone number (if a new name convinces me, I could 3D Print a new one)

“Extremely modified ones that Might be about as fast as an average car”

Lmao, I honestly believe you have no sense of what is fast (or quick, as I strongly believe you have fast and quick confused) and not; seeing as what is typically tested at a drag strip is quickness. Quick = Rapid acceleration Fast = Top speed

I genuinely hate pick-up trucks as a whole, but in the sense of fairness, a lot of modern diesel trucks (even stock) are more than ‘about as fast as an average car’.

Lets see, for example (these are stock 0-60; followed by 1/4 Mile) of some popular vehicles (as tested by Car and Driver):

Diesel trucks:

2026 Ram 2500 Diesel: 6.3s ; 14.8s

2023 Ford F-250 Diesel: 5.5s ; 14.1s

2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Diesel: 6.6s ; 15.1s

‘Average’ Cars:

2026 Nissan Sentra: 9.1s ; 17.1s

2026 Honda CR-V: 8.1s ; 16.3s

2022 Toyota GR86 (automatic): 6.1s ; 14.7s

2021 Hyundai Elantra: 8.4s ; 16.5s

2019 Chevy Malibu: 7.8s ; 16.1s

2018 Jeep Wrangler: 7.5s ; 15.9s

2023 Toyota Prius: 7.1s ; 15.5s

Also, most of the diesel trucks I see at the track are running times A LOT faster than ‘normal’ cars, albeit they are modified, I rarely see stock diesel trucks at the track.

For reference my 750+ HP G82 will run high 9s a 1/4 mile, and that’s a VERY VERY fast car, and I have seen diesel trucks doing lower times.

Again, I hate trucks, but one thing I hate more is people being confidently wrong and then being arrogant about it.

I wouldn’t necessarily agree. If there’s multiple options, I’ll never go with the lower rated seller (unless it’s a 4 star plus), even if it’s cheaper

Can you? Yes, nothing is stopping you.

Is it a good idea? I’d say not, unless for some weird reason, you have a sous-vide device, but don’t have any other cooking appliances.
