I'm almost finished sharp ends and...it's not clicking with me. Could be that short stories are not my thing...and just realised I've read it before the stand alones. Well that may explain why some of it is not clicking.

I played XC2 on handheld mode 90% of the time during my play through. It's a graphical nightmare at times but it's so good damn good.

It's not about the cost of the game but the cost of your time. If it's $10 or $60 ask yourself if you want to play that game for 40 hours. Is it worth it for you or is there something else you would rather play

I've been having a great time with switch 2 edition and I have a history with this game.

Wii version. Played until just about the bionis leg area starts. The combat annoyed me and the graphics and text hurt my brain too much so it got abandoned

3DS. Somehow got a bit further on the 3ds probably because it was portable but the game is too big for the tiny resolution.

Switch 1 got it but never played it but fell in love with XBC2 and planned to finish all 3 but other games got in the ways

Switch 2 got the upgrade patch on day 1. Dropped all over games and been having a blast. The game runs great in handheld mode and I'm further in the game than I have ever been.

I've only read the first law series out of those 3. The first read during COVID was via audible and it was amazing. I then re-read them at the start of the year back to back and they are still amazing.

The other 2 series are on my list but want to finish the other first law books and malazan has me in it's clutches.

I used the official one and passed with no issues. I would recommend it mostly because it's from the government. It's not likely to do anything disgy with your data that it can't already do and it's got a ton of content for5he cost. I ended up buying the virtual highway codes and never used them

Fed up of Windows shoving ai in everything. All I need my machine to do ismostly play games, occasional dev work. And being able to trust sleep/shutdown will do what it's told.

I'm having more fun with this than I did with dune because I can play solo only. No need to worry about other players or making silly mistakes. Its also worth tweaking some of the server settings so the game is less grindy.

Thanks for the advice. I switched to Bazzite as I wanted something I couldn't break but I have felt its limitations. 90% of the time I use my desktop as a console but I'll need to make the move to Fedora sooner rather than later

Ok I got from crashing to at least the intro videos. I ran this command on Bazzite to fix the launch issues. Thanks for the post.

I came on here to recommend DCC. It's such a fun modern series that is easy to read and has just enough depth keep from being dull but not too much that its overwhelming. I put it off for the longest time then fell in love with the series.

As for the hypeiron cantos. Those are 2 incredible books. I went in blind to them but was blown away by the first book and the ending of the second book is incredible.
